R.D. Engineering College has good scope for students to be placed in reputed organisations. RDEC placement cell is the hub of all placement activities. Top recruiters including IBM, HCL, TCS, NIIT Delhi, Birla soft, Wipro, Oracle, and Infosys have visited the RD Engineering College in recent times. RDEC placement cell offers technical training to the students from 2nd year onwards to be successful in campus recruitment.

Additionally, the RD Engineering College placement board has established an AWS academy at the campus for interested students to be AWS certified and be placed successfully in the top institutions. RD Engineering College has a training centre for SSB for selection in the armed forces, and the training is headed by the senior Air Force officers, who themselves have been ex-members of the Service Selection Board for more than a decade. It has a training and placement cell that conducts placements, soft skill training , pre-placement talks etc. The cell is responsible for all the on campus placements. But, the placements experience is varied by the branch and students skill and initiative.

Placement is the one thing that needs improvement because it is not much great. You can do this course at this college but don't have high expectations about the placement. Only 20% of the students are getting placed.
