Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you will be included under EWS category. The essential point is that your valid EWS certificate is renewed and available on or before the exam date (in this case, June 2025). Since you upgraded your certificate in March 2025, before the exam, your EWS candidate position will normally be accepted. Whether or not you will be accepted as EWS will be subject to the recruiting body's verification rules regarding document checking.

Hello Ruchi

Starting this year, the Secondary School Examinations (basically 10th class) will be conducted in 2 phases. The 1st phase examinations will be conducted in Feb to March while the 2nd phase examinations will be conducted in May.

It is very beneficial for 10th class students as you can improve your scores. Suppose you don't get good score in Phase 1, you can try to improve it in Phase 2. And if you get good score in Phase 1, then you don't need to go for Phase 2. In short, the best of the 2 phases marks will be added.

Thank You!!!

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can appear for the 10th board examination in 2027.

To appear for the 10th board exam (like CBSE), you generally need to be at least 14 years old by December 31st of the exam year .

Since your DOB is March 21, 2013, you will be well over 14 years old by December 31, 2027. So, you meet the age requirement.

Yes, since you passed Class 12 in 2025 and want to improve your marks, you can apply for the 2026 CBSE improvement exam as a private candidate. You don’t need school help for this CBSE will release the form on their official website around October to November 2025. You’ll need to fill it online and select the subjects you want to improve.

The improvement exams are usually held along with regular board exams in February March, not after the declaration of 2026 results. So you’ll be writing the paper at the same time as regular students.

You were born on 9 March 2007, so you are not eligible for NDA 1 or NDA 2 in 2026. NDA 1 requires birth between 2 July 2007 and 1 July 2010, and NDA 2 needs birth between 2 Jan 2008 and 1 Jan 2011. Since your DOB is earlier, you exceed the upper age limit for both exams.
