After reviewing both of the given options, I'll suggest you to go for Christ University Banglore campus.

It is a private deemed to be University in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Placements: Chandigarh University average placements are 4lacs and highest is 14lacs. Whereas in Christ Bangalore 6.5lacs average and highest is 16lacs.

Banglore city has a location advantage also as it is the companies hub.

IF you are from any of the reserved categories the chances would have been better but if you are form the general category then you will beed about 89 percentile for qualifying the jee mains. without qualifying you cannot get admission through the jee mains score

With a 49% in graduation you're not eligible for getting admission for MBA from Chandigarh University.

The minimum eligibility criteria is:

Graduate with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university OR Chartered Accountant/ Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant.

Congratulations for your result and qualifying JEE mains.since it is very difficult to predict the exact rank but we do have a backup> we have a formula to calculate the expected rank that is (100 – Total percentile) x 869010/100.So according to formula your expected rank for present percentile for January session comes out to be  56659 generAL RANK. Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session. For ex if 12 lakh candidate appear the april session then just replace 869010 by 12 lakhs. But if you score above 85 percentile then you have a very decent chance of qualifying jee mains.

If you are asking for BTech then obviously Punjab University is best because it is a government university and Chandigarh University is a private University while the fee structure is also high in Chandigarh University ,in Punjab University you will have better environment ,good faculty etc.
Placement of Punjab University is also good It has good reputation too.

Chandigarh University is one of the best place for pursuing MBA. It's ROI ( return on investment) is good. Fees for MBA is around 3.65 lakh which is really low as compared other colleges and it's placement is really good. Average placement of the college is around 7 lakh per annum for the latest batch and highest was around 15 lakh.

If you get 86 percentile in JEE main exam, you rank would be approximately in between 1,14,000 to 1,20,000.  Also, Above is the range of your possible rank. The predicted rank may vary due to JEE Main tie breaker rules for the same score. For NITs, You have to secured minimum of 30,000 rank, which would be equal to approx 160 marks.

According to 2019 trend,  highest package offered in engineering stream was 32.5 lpa, followed by 14 lpa in management sector and 18 lpa in hospitality sector. Therefore has been a huge jump of 60 percent in the number of offers made. A total of 627 companies has made 6314 offers to students of the university.

The last date for back nursing in Chandigarh University was 20 December 2019 .
