Data Science is the future thats for sure but if you see as a fresher in Data Science then you would find that there are less options for freshers in industries. So if you wish to go for MSc Data Science be sure that you should do some internships in order to gain experience. Now both the courses are very good and they are equally probable of giving you jobs. So you have to choose based on your interest. There are no demerits except that BTech is a course of 4 years where as Integrated MSc is a 5 year course. But investment of 1 year is really significant to the outcome. Thus you can go for any of the course and you have nothing to worry about because both the courses have ample amount of job opportunities.

yes NIOS students  are eligible for b tech admissions 60% aggregate marks are required .any national recognized educational institute students can apply to the cusat exam.

First of all congratulations for securing a good rank.

As you know there are only 60 seats for integrated Msc in basic sciences in cusat.But there will be high chances for getting admission with this rank. In 2018 last rank admitted was around 700 something for general category. Last Year it rises upto around 1200–1300 for general. So with this rank of 1209 there is a high probability to get admission. Actually it depends on many factors like option registration, KVPY etc. There will be more preference for students who have a Better KVPY rank. So wait for the admission procedures.
