well, if that is the case, I am apprehensive can’t get through any recognised engineering college

IIEST accepts only JEE MAINS score. It doesn't accept WBJEE score.

Hello Pritam, with that rank you'd barely get Mining or Meta in IIEST under home state quota. And for Jadavpur it depends on WBJEE not JEE(M). I'd suggest you to try for other NITs/GFTIs.
