Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time course Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) focuses on research and teaching. These research interests include basic and applied areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department has a practice of Collaborative research. Currently, the department focused on the research on the following broad areas: 1. Communication System 2. RF & Microwave Engineering 3. Microelectronics & VLSI 4. IoT & Robotics 5. Image processing The Department has started the PhD program in the related areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering. In addition to that, the department has various labs such as communication Lab, VLSI lab, IoT Lab, Semiconductor & Devices lab. Also, the department has various software tools such as MATLAB, CADENCE, VIVADO, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.

Admission Details

Admission would be carried out by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA).

Batch of 2022-01-01 | B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

College Infrastructure

We aren't yet operating in our permanent campus. The campus currently hired provides us with boys hostel building and a floor for college activities / academic purposes. The campus is quite far stretched and has good scenic beauty to it. The labs aren't in their best condition but are pretty well equipped. Wifi is still an issue. But it's being seen over by the authorities. Sports activities are less frequent but are well managed and encouraged by the faculties. Food is fine, too.
