Ignou doesn't provide good infrastructure to the students. Basic facilities are missing. We have old buildings and small classrooms with some broken fans ,desks. We dont get library. Food available in the canteen is nice only.
We dont have classes on regular basis. First we are said we will have two classes per week ,but we only have one class per week ,that too gets cancelled many time. Teachers are not knowledgeable and fail to clear many topics.
You will not get a single opportunity if you are an ignou student. Ignou is only for those are doing something else with this course. So student either do higher studies or focus on civil exams. There is no placement cell.
The college has quite good hold in this. Facilitates very nice environment to the students. Classrooms are in improved condition and they can do better to bring in new technologies for the betterment of the children.
They provide wide range of courses and these very much accessible which makes it more flexible for all kind of students. The college also provide various sources of study materials that children can get through their websites.
Since it's an open university it actually doesn't conduct campus placements. However it holds quite a good worth to be in someone's resume. Students can get a job through open campus placements and with the help of other employment services.
This is very much worth it indeed. One gets a lot in very less
The area around college is very peaceful and reliable for a student to cope up with the studies.
My study center is good and In classroom AC is available, Wi-Fi, computer, etc. Canteen also available but if you have money to purchase a food and there is badminton field and In my college there is BGMI tournament or free fire tournament also played.
Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable; they teach us well. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult; the pass percentage is 40%. Exams are held in two sessions in a year, and assignments are also given.
In this college, there is no big opportunity for placements. Mostly there will be no placements. Sometimes a small chance for placement even in some small companies with lower reputation are provided to select students. The best way is to learn here and search for jobs outside.
Good University
Its an open university so there is no infrastructure as such, all the classes are taken online, even the exam are conducted in other govt college. As one doesnot need to attain the classes in person one can persue the courses staying at home.
Im studying MA English as i have finish my bachelor in english. All the classes are online but the classes taken by teacher shows that they have grap a good knowledge about the subject they are teaching. Studying is IGNOU doesnot make anyone job ready it just help us to finish the course and one need to hunt for the job by himself.
There is no placement facilities one need to search for the job by himself/herself. This college just provide us with the knowledge and degree certificate, rest depend on us . Search for the job and move ahead in life.
The cost of the course in on the cheaper end. The course cost around 6000 per semester, so around 12000 per year. The education receive seems pretty good with the money spend.
The best part of the college is the availabilty of free time. You can make use of your free time by preparing for other competitive exam or doing some job side by side while still studying and completing the master. Whereas, the worst part that i feel is the availability of the teacher as all classes are taken online we cant approach the teacher in person to clear our doubts.
: My study center is good and In classroom AC is available, Wi-Fi, computer, etc. Canteen also available but if you have money to purchase a food and there is badminton field and In my college there is BGMI tournament or free fire tournament also played.
Teachers are good and one of them was a Ph.D. holder but one thing that I hate is that of the five, only 2 used to attend classes and if I talk about a course, then it is good and to the point. There is nothing extra. And exams are easy if you study PYQs and you also get marks on assignments, so it is not that difficult to pass.
IGNOU placement has witnessed about 80% of its students placed in companies which is a good number to look at. I have a serious from same course which placed in IBM company with a good package. That means you can also get good placement if you work hard.
Excellent
My study centre was ramanujan in my first year , so it was good in terms of infrastructure , canteen and others , but I don't know about hostels as I am not from a regular college . But I think there are no hostels because I didn't not see any there and bulidings are being constructed .
Teachers are good and one of them was ph. D . Holder but one thing that I hate is that of the five , only 2 used to attend classes and if I talk about a course , then it is good and to the point . There is nothing extra .
It is an open university so you can get any placements here . So I would recommend that if someone wants to live a college life , they should opt for a regular college , not this one . Because here , you won't experience anything .
The college infrastructure is good when compared to other colleges. We have all the amenities provided that help our day-to-day life go smoothly. The classrooms have digital projectors and there is wifi provision too.
The faculty is top-notch and have a great grasp of the subject they teach. The teachers are knowledgeable as well as very supportive. They are easily approachable and very friendly. Always ready to solve our problems and make sure there are no doubts left.
There is no provision for placements as it is a government college. The college provides us with the degree and we are free to hunt jobs as per our field. There is no provision for internships too. You can only gain knowledge and degree certificate.
It is one of the best college at the mentioned fees
Campus life is good
There is wifi , but the network is not that strong . Classrooms are digital with projectors . Computer labs are available . A library is also available for student . The canteen serves good food . It is near and clean .
Our college has renowned teachers . They are highly educated and qualified . They are friendly . They always solve our queries . Each lecture is for almost one hour . Examinations are semester wise .
There are no placement facilities for students as this is a government college . Students only get their degrees and apply to companies on their own . No internships are provided . Certificates and knowledge are provided for correspondence students .
Ignou does not provide good infrastructure. Colleges are allocated to you based on your locality. Some colleges has average facilities, some have below par. My study center has average sized classrooms but are not maintained, no wifi and a small playground.
In Ignou ,teachers are least concerned about your education. I am pursuing MA (pol science). Classes are held rarely that too without prior notice. Some teachers are rude and fail to clear your doubts. Curriculum is okay okay.
You would not get much placement opportunities in ignou. In MA, you can get some internship or placement but not from renowned company. Highest package last year was 4 lpa only. You have to study hard and grab job on your own.
IGNOU infrastructure is good and also the facilities is great, there is no attendance issue and students can also prepare for the competitive exams. The college provides us with all the necessary equipments like e-library for our studies.
I am studying MA English, we have classes online the faculties are well spoken and punctual and also provide us learning materials online. The faculty gives individual attention to each students, helping each of them to clear their doubts.
The placement in IGNOU is decent, most of the job profile are customer service executive, health and life insurance adviser, Customer support. The average salary offered by most of the company is between 1.7LPA to 5LPA.
Hi there!
As you had completed 10th, then BPP from IGNOU, and then B.Com, but don’t have a 12th certificate, many employers may reject you because BPP is not recognized as equivalent to 12th by all sectors. Instead of a diploma, it’s better to do NIOS 12th, which is fully valid across jobs and education. It’s flexible and can be completed in 1–1.5 years. Once done, you’ll be eligible for:Government jobs,Banking/SSC, or PG courses.
Alternatively, you may look into Skill India programs or NSDC-certified vocational diplomas. Some options:

Dear Candidate ,
Yes , you absolutely can pursue an accounting course from a private institution after completing your BPP + B .com from IGNOU . Your academic background is valid and recognized for most private and even many government - certified accounting programs .
Dear Aspirant,
You are currently pursuing a BA in Psychology (Honours) from IGNOU. According to the latest guidelines from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), becoming a Clinical Psychologist now requires either a four-year undergraduate degree in Psychology or a 3+1 model, which consists of a three-year BA and a one-year bridge course. Unfortunately, IGNOU does not provide a bridge year or a four-year honours program. This creates a significant challenge for your clinical psychology goals. However, there is a clear path forward. After completing your three-year BA, you can enroll in a regular, UGC-recognized two-year MA or MSc in Psychology. Make sure to achieve at least 55 percent in your first year. This will qualify you to apply for the RCI-approved MA in Clinical Psychology program, which has replaced the previous M.Phil course. This program leads directly to licensure as a Clinical Psychologist. Alternatively, you can consider options like IGNOU’s RCI-approved Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP). This program allows you to practice as an Associate Clinical Psychologist. While the path may appear complicated, with careful planning and informed academic choices, you can still achieve your goal of becoming a Clinical Psychologist under the new RCI guidelines.
Best wishes
