The infrastructure is decent and ambience is very good. There is no wifi facility. Actually this is non attending college so if anyone wants to get any degree without attending college...then they can join any course from side.
Academic is good in this college . Exam is conducted in well disciplined manner. Teachers are well educated and knowledgeable having doctorate degree. They are always ready to teach and help their students.
As I'm pursuing bachelor's of commerce so there is no placement available for us in this college. No big company visit our college for placement purpose. There is no workshop and internships provided by them.
Infrastructure of the ignou is very bad. There is no wifi facility and even there is no sports facilities for students. There is minimal medical facilities if someone falls sick. Having a library depends on your center, but they rarely issue books.
Teachers are not helpful at all. I completed my mcom in 2019. They never used to give prior message to students for class. 3-4 times a month ,we used to have classes. They never not interested in teaching us. Curriculum is same as du sol.
You will not get any placement opportunities here. At our time only 5 % student got placed. You will only get mediocre profile. Average package offered here is 2.5 to 3 lpa. You have to study on your own to secure a good job.
It has a good infrastructure and faculty is good Indira Gandhi National open University . They teach us very precisely and faculty members are also very hard working And there is strictness in our collge. Time management is properly followed.
I am a 1st year student in Master of Arts Political Science Department In our department there are nearly 30 teachers Nearly all are Phd. Teaching quality is good. Teachers are also good. Anytime if we have any doubt we can ask them anytime. This study makes me job ready.
Indira Gandhi National Open University New Delhi it so good placement but mostly students are enrolled in other college throughout Pnd . And some students are preparing for Government Examinations paper like SSC . CHSL , CGL, UPSC And State PCs .
Of course value for money
Campus life is good
Nothing else
IGNOU classrooms are suspicious and comfortable. It also have projectors and audio visual equipments. There maybe complaints about poor ventilation and less well equipped centres. They have library resources with digital access.
Ignou relies on self instructional print and digital materials. It also provide student support services throughout the academic year. Content is amazing for self paced learning. Assessment methods are fair and transparent. Faculty are very supportive.
It doesn't guarantee job placement. However it provide various resources for facilities job opportunities. It offers placement support services like career counselling, resume building workshops to assist students
Infrastructure include various regional centers and study centers.my study center had basic facilities like drinking water ,good clean classrooms. But if you opt for books they don't provide them on time. We had a library last year
You totally have to study on your own. We were not even updated about our classes . We used to have only 2-3 classes per month. You won't get any important topics or last year question from teachers. Even result is declared late.
Placements are totally different from the regular colleges. Negligible students get placed. But it is better than sol. One student I know got 4 lpa last year. But for internships and placements ,you have to find them on your own.
Infrastructure wise how it is I didn't know. Because I am complete my degree from distance learning. But there is some friends and they say good in area of class room, library and computer lab and many more.
I am a distance learning student but there followup there teaching style and notes etc they provide in good quality but some times we face issue regarding payment and basic things like notice they show some delay.
I completed my Bachelor in Librarians science. After that I want to do Master of Business Administration that's why I am not part of Treaninng and Placement practice of the University. so I can't say anything on it.
I is ok on the basis of Value of money because they provide good education is the very big plus point but in terms of exam notification payment confirmation and some basic things where they show there something wrong.
My experience in IGNOU is very good. The infrastructure and facility provided in the college are pretty good. Classroom and library are the great place to read and gain knowledge. The infrastructure of the college was comparatively good.
Overall , the academics of IGNOU are good. This university is just for good working professional and for those student who do not want to go to college for study, there is no placement in this university.
As per online sources, the IGNOU placement rate varies between 70% and 80%. IGNOU MBA graduates are working with some of the leading companies including Deloitte, ITC, Samsung, Reliance, among others. Based on skills, IGNOU MBA students can expect a salary after graduation between INR 5 LPA and INR 15 LPA.
It is best for the value of money with good infrastructure and highly qualified teachers. Placements: About 60% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package was 2.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA.
Classrooms are fine but the labs weren't provided for us. As it's an open college and no hostels are there. We have a decent canteen on the main campus but not in ... IGNOU is a good college if you are preparing for some other exams.
I've been appointed the centre Maharaja Bir Bikram University in Agartala for my M.A Psychology in IGNOU. The facilities are well established with timely classes in place every week. There is also an emphasis on the practical classes held. Teachers are cooperative and help put with all the related queries.
I am studying MA psychology in mbb college Agartala the quality of teaching is very good the teachers are well properly and help out with any queries that curriculum is updated and include of field they also put it on the practical works and the internship available.
The idea for the knowledge about the placement is not yet known by me and I am not aware of the facilities provided by the universities on this matter. But I haven idea that the every package offered by the university is 5LPA.
Studying in IGNOU is very cost effective as it take very less amount the amount I paid for my master degree is 18000 for two semesters. And the fees is convenient in comparison to most other universities.
The campus of the university is green and eco friendly. There has been an emphasis on the importance of nature and it also include all the facilities such as stadiums, fields, etc. and is also well connected to the transportation facilities.
Overall it is a good University and and provide all the facilities with very minimal charges. It is a good option for ones who opt to do masters along with their work
This is a open University so there is website infrastructure and very secure web site there is no any problem for updating and admission. Very high demand for open distance study in india so according to my very good infrastructure
According to me there is provided study centre for students and there is not much availablity of teachers and books there is only a study centre for fullfill formalities by the university if u want teaching choose another one..
There is very rare chance to get placement in any type of filed otherwise you need to prefer another university or college if you want higher chance of placement and a good quality of your degree and future
Ya there is very low money for middle class family members and students you can complete your graduation at low cost and you need to get admission in this university but you need to doing self study in this program
because of this is a open University there is no compus life you need to prefer other universities or colleges if you want good andd best campus life there is no one feast organised and no progress for any typ of campus festivals
IGNOU is well known open university in India. The facilities like their department is available in every University at district level which ensures accessibility and reliability. Their online education portal and the delivery system of all the notes is prompt.
The educational facilities I must say is of best quality. The books provided by the University are also referred by the UPSC students which have thorough coverage of the syllabus. The only drawback is you cannot interact one to one to the faculty members until it's necessary.
There is nothing like on campus placement drive. But the degree by IGNOU is itself powerful to get anyone a good job off campus. Many of the senior students either got a good job or got promoted after completion of pg from this university.
Yes it is highly value for money. You have to pay very less fees which I must say is very reasonable. Apart from this the other facilities like home delivery, notification before exam schedule, on demand query resolution, etc mechanisms are too good.
Hi there!
As you had completed 10th, then BPP from IGNOU, and then B.Com, but don’t have a 12th certificate, many employers may reject you because BPP is not recognized as equivalent to 12th by all sectors. Instead of a diploma, it’s better to do NIOS 12th, which is fully valid across jobs and education. It’s flexible and can be completed in 1–1.5 years. Once done, you’ll be eligible for:Government jobs,Banking/SSC, or PG courses.
Alternatively, you may look into Skill India programs or NSDC-certified vocational diplomas. Some options:

Dear Candidate ,
Yes , you absolutely can pursue an accounting course from a private institution after completing your BPP + B .com from IGNOU . Your academic background is valid and recognized for most private and even many government - certified accounting programs .
Dear Aspirant,
You are currently pursuing a BA in Psychology (Honours) from IGNOU. According to the latest guidelines from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), becoming a Clinical Psychologist now requires either a four-year undergraduate degree in Psychology or a 3+1 model, which consists of a three-year BA and a one-year bridge course. Unfortunately, IGNOU does not provide a bridge year or a four-year honours program. This creates a significant challenge for your clinical psychology goals. However, there is a clear path forward. After completing your three-year BA, you can enroll in a regular, UGC-recognized two-year MA or MSc in Psychology. Make sure to achieve at least 55 percent in your first year. This will qualify you to apply for the RCI-approved MA in Clinical Psychology program, which has replaced the previous M.Phil course. This program leads directly to licensure as a Clinical Psychologist. Alternatively, you can consider options like IGNOU’s RCI-approved Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP). This program allows you to practice as an Associate Clinical Psychologist. While the path may appear complicated, with careful planning and informed academic choices, you can still achieve your goal of becoming a Clinical Psychologist under the new RCI guidelines.
Best wishes
