Very nice experience.
College Infrastructure
Our University has very good infrastructure. But a little bit old fashioned. But our department has many laboratories such as APPLIED MECHANOCS LAB, HEAT POWER LAB, HYDRAULICS LAB, FITTING SHOP, CARPENTRY SHOP, BLUE EARTH MACHINE SHOP, FOUNDRY SHOP, FORGING SHOP. We also have two computer labs in our department.
I like my college, facilities and education is very good.

The college infrastructure is up to the standard and the students are provided with a conducive learning atmosphere. Classrooms are large and properly placed in the structure, and the library, which contains various sources of books and journals, is adequately provided. There is no admission test for admission to Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Admission are purely based on your marks in class 10th and class 12th boards. The minimum entry percentage for this university is that you should have above 75% in your class 12.
For getting admission to bsc maths honours at the University,the criterion is
1. [9 X marks obtained in mathematics in secondary / equivalent examination + 4 X marks obtained in mathematics in HS / equivalent examination] ÷ 13 = A
2. [9 X Marks obtained in physical science/ science in secondary/ equivalent examination + 4 X percentage of marks obtained in Best TWO subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Statistics , Computer science in HS / equivalent examination] ÷ 13 = B
3. C = ( 9 A + 4 B) /13
The merit list is prepared on the basis of C ( marks re given out of 100)
