hi,
ST scholarship provides financial help to ST category students studying at post matriculation level to complete their education. This scheme is centrally funded and implemented by the State Government. the eligibility criteria is as follows:
Hi Nishant
To be eligible for MNIT Jaipur or any other NIT one needs at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination.
Which branch you want to get admission in? I am considering it to be computer science, if you are interested in some other branch then do let me know in the comment section.
Actually, predicting the cut off rank to get a seat is very difficult as it keeps changing every year depending upon the branch you want to take admission in ,difficulty level of JEE Main examination, number of students that appeared in the jee main and the toughness level of the examination, your home state, your category etc, but when we go through previous year trends then
In jee main 2019 , cutoff rank to get admission in MNIT Jaipur in Computer Science Engineering is given below for sc category :-
* Male Candidate, home state :- 929
*Male Candidate, other state :- 974
You can check the same at
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-mnit-jaipur
So, to be on the safer side you should try to get a rank of around 900 , and as per previous year are trends to get a rank of around 900 you should get at least 200+ marks.
Thank you
Dear student,
In almost all the nit's the college asks the students to submit a fresh income certificate after each year on the basis of which they receive the advantages. So definitely you can change your income category after a year from less than one laks to between 1 lakhs and 5 lakhs. If the students fail to produce the income certificates they are not given any tuition fee waiver, also fresh applications are accepted for tfw after each year.
Dear student,
To take admission in an iit/nit/iiit/gfti you would need an ews certificate to avail the reservation for ews, the certificate should be issued by the central government and not by the state. You cannot give the state ews certificate. The central ews certificate will be valid in any part of India. It can be issued from any part of the country.
As you Know Jee is one of the toughest exam and getting seat in IIT and even IIIT and NITS are the most prestigious and on the other hand toughest part. Though it's obviously not impossible, as you are aspiring and you have hardly 1.5 months for JEE mains 1st examination, I hope you have prepared and built the basic concepts of all the subjects. Start with NCERT books, which are the base for JEE main. Build a strong base of the concepts and theories from NCERT books. For practicing and advanced studying choose the right reference book. Try to solve a JEE mains model paper from the day being and don't miss giving an excuse. Try to attend mock test organised by different coaching institutes. Try to give 6 hours a day (2 hours for each subject) for studying or revising basic syllabus. Attend mock test from now and make the whole examination process clear.
All the best.
Hello, You can try having one standard and one reference book for a subject. Study only from the standard book and use the reference only when some topic is not clear or unavailable. You can either highlight in the books while studying or jot down the points from a topic after giving a read. You should be able to build the concept from those points and they should be revised regularly. No need to memorize the whole topic just remember the definitions as such and start working out application oriented problems along side.
Best of luck.

Hello there,
Generally in each college, there is a provision for branch upgradation. And to upgrade your branch you need mainly two things. The first one is that, you must top in your 1st year. Means, you have to score very good marks in your 1st year course. The second and very important thing is that, there must be some vacant seat in the branch you want to upgrade to. If you have both these things , then surely you can upgrade your branch.
But here in NIT Jaipur it seems that there is no provision for branch upgradation. Once you get a seat in the counselling, your final seat will be the same, and you can't upgrade your branch further.
Hope this helps.
The collage Is recognised for this strong hold on research with various projects the college has well maintained Laboratories with modern instrument with support advanced research in environmental engineering the library is well stocked with vast collection of books and research papers
Malaviya National Institute of Technology(MNIT) Jaipur have a lecture complex known as VLTC where all classes are held. It have separate hostels for both boys and girls. It have well equipped labs and various research facilities. Various sports tournament and cultural programs are organized to enhance the capability of students.
The college itself is not that old compared to other government colleges and the infra is alright but there is no architectural beauty in the buildings they are just bland. Although everything is well maintained, it does not have anything special about it
