There is no problem whether you get admission through JoSSA or CSAB but it would be problem if you do not get selected as you have to pay 1500 for only CSAB counseling. And on top of that you can not just rely on CSAB as it will only happen in NIT Jaiput if there is seat left and also it will happen late so your chance in other college also gets over.

Hence you have to took steps by considering all aspects.

Without any doubt cse at mnit, two reasons,

1. Cse is an evergreen branch there are lot of career opportunities and handsome salary. It is also good but cse is any day better
2. Secodly mnit is far better college than iiit allahabad in every aspect.

Your rank is quite moderate, you have to attend all the rounds of counselling you may get the lower branches at Mnit jaipur, if you have a state qouta too then definitely you will get a seat,

With a rank of around 4000 in the ST category rank list in JEE Mains 2020, you will be able to get non core branches like biomedical, mettalurgy, mining, etc at SVNIT Surat and MNIT Rajasthan.

According to your rand and previous year cut off their is very difficult to get any branch in nit jaipur but their is a branch where you can get seat which is Metallurgical and Materials Engineering branch so if you are interested then go for this branch. But the cut off are based on previous year trend and trend is changing every year so try to get any better branch. Hope you will get the branch and college which you want.
