Here we discuss about the placement records of both colleges YVU and MIT's.

The yogi vemana university is newly established university which was established in year of 2008-09 , and the placements records are not good as compare to other engineering colleges.

While MIT's Gwalior is a good college for both placements and education, MIT's Gwalior is very old college established in 1957. It is a government aided autonoums college so the placement records of this college is very good compare to other engineering college.

So if you want to choose between YVU and MIT's then you must go for MIT's college.

You can easily get CSE branch in MITs gwalior if your JEE rank is good there is no boundaries or not any other rule for Outside MP students,

The rules who apply on MP students same rules follow for other state students so don't about your state, anybody from India can get MITs college.

The mission of MIT's Gwalior is "To provide quality education in technical and allied discipline" so if you got CSE branch in MITs gwalior then don't miss it. MIT's Gwalior is one of the best engineering college in MP region.

sorry to say vaibhav as you belongs to jharkhand you dont have state domicile and computer science branch in mits gwalior closes at a rank of about 80000.but with this score you can get other branches except computer science and information technology.

The hostel fees depends on the individual's food types and other facilities he wants apart from basic facilities provided. But through experience students from MITS Gwalior says that if you dont want to fuck up your career you must not take hostels. There are some points told by a friend who've recently graduated from MITS Gwalior about the hostel in MITS Gwalior:

Toppers from MITS in GATE/CAT/GRE are only day scholars. You can contact your department HOD for this year information.

My roommate in hostel in first year choose to remain in hostel for all four years and after 4 years he told me in WhatsApp chat that choosing to live in hostel was his worst decision ever. He's unemployed right now and most probably sitting at home preparing for higher education and you won't believe but he has 200+ JEE score at our time.

Almost all people from hostel go to Delhi, Bhopal, Indore for preparation of GATE/CAT and even for government and bank exams by taking drop after college.

Your colleagues in hostel will mostly be the guys who had half or less marks compared to you in JEE, as hostel people will not allow you to hangout with people having the same intelligence level as you i.e. day scholars.

Almost all of them become smokers and drunkard after first year when they get directly in contact with their hostel seniors in 2nd year.

Day scholars are the guys who are making name and good image of MITS on international coding platforms like Codechef, SPOJ, HackerRank etc. Hostelers won't even have their accounts registered on these platforms. They use hostel wifi just to download high quality HD 1080p porn and movies.

People from core branches like mechanical, civil, chemical gets better packages than CS/IT in MITS although number of peoples getting jobs directly from campus in core branches are relatively less than CS-IT but all of these core branch people's are dayscholars.

Only advice about career I got was from my dayscholar seniors. They won't even take ragging and don't even talk to you unless and until you ask for there help. Only advice related to fighting, voilence, creating instability in college campus, H+ blood group and all that shit I got was from my hostel seniors in 1st year.

Authorities in hostel are corrupt. Warden, Caretaker, everyone is corrupt. They allow mess people to cook poor quality food to get some money out of it. Even mess outside MITS campus gives better food than hostel mess.

There's no problem for food for dayscholars near gole ka mandir. You can either find a maid to cook you food or else you can join the BABA MESS. Baba mess tifins are best in the area. Our faculty from MITS take tiffins from Baba mess. Best quality food in gole ka mandir.

For RO water there are suppliers who charge very minimal amount of money to supply you cane of purified RO water.

You can even hangout with your dayscholar friends as there are many good tourist places in Gwalior and many good restaurants on weekends. So life doesn't become monotonous after leaving hostel as what your hostel seniors will most probably tell you.

You can join gym near gole ka mandir in morar enclave under a very experienced and educated trainer with very reasonable price of ₹500 than that fuck all gym of college that hostelers don't let dayscholars to use which doesn't even have a trainer.

One more thing. You don't have to wait in a line in the morning to take a dump and smell other people's shit in toilet in hostel if you're becoming a day scholars.
