The NIT Calicut is one of the National Institute of Technologies and is one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India.

As per the reviews and ratings, the Mechanical Engineering department is good in respect of the teaching quality, programs organised and facilities provided to students. Talking about the placements, then the average placement percentage from the data of last 5 years cutoff is 90% with the average annual salary of INR 9 Lakhs and highest package ever offered of INR 50 Lakhs.

To take admission in these colleges , you have to appear for JEE Mains and you have to score well to get a seat in these colleges, their cutoffs are generally high.
