According to your percentile your approximate rank would be near around 42,000-45, 000 and on the basis of this rank it is little bit hard to get Mechanical branch in NIT Durgapur but as you belongs to OBC and you are female so there are high chances that you might get seat in your required branch which is Mechanical. WBJEE is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-Financed Institutes in the state of West Bengal. But NIT Durgapur and IIEST shibpur do not come under WBJEE. Hence you cannot get admission in NIT Durgapur and IIEST shibpur based on WBJEE score.

If you want to get admission in NIT Durgapur and IIEST shibpur you will have to write JEE Main and then qualify it. You have to satisfy certain eligibility criteria also. Then the admission process takes place through JoSAA counselling. There is also special round of seats remain vacant.

The closing rank for getting a seat in CS branch in NIT Durgapur for general category candidates having home state quota is around 17000.
So in order to get a seat in CS branch you need to score above 98 percentile in JEE Mains.
Also the closing rank varies for every caste so if you are not at general category candidates then mention that in the comment section.

Dear learner it is not possible to get NIT Durgapur or IIEST Shibpur as per our percentile as cut off percentles are much higher nearly 98 to 99 percentile.

NIT Durgapur and Jadavpur University both of then are outstanding colleges and holds almost similar features.

CSE is one of the most sought after branch of engineering. Both of them offers nice curriculum and placement in CSE but comparatively CSE at Jadavpur University is better. Jadavpur University is known for its CSE department. The Institute fee and hostel fee is very much lesser in Jadavpur University. It is 1200 per semester in Jadavpur University and 75000 per semester in NIT Durgapur. Besides there are other factors aa well you can opt as per your convenience.

Now comparing ECE and IT at Jadavpur University. Both of them are good branches and have numerous scopes in them. The placement is same in Jadavpur University. But compared to ECE IT has ample amount of opportunities and it is increasing.

BIT MESRA:
The Institute was established in 1995 approved by UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). It is accredited by NBA and NAAC. It has collaboration with University of Aalborg, Purdue University USA, University of Houston USA and many more.

MBA Fee Structure: INR 3.32 Lakh

Average placement: INR 4-8 LPA depends on the companies and skills of students.

Yes, hostel is compulsory for all students in NIT Durgapur. However, if you are a local resident or facing health issues, then special permission can be provided for you to stay at home.

The recruiting companies for MBA in MNNIT Allahabad and NIT Durgapur are almost same. But the placement percentage for MNNIT Allahabad is better compared to NIT Durgapur. More than 90% MBA graduates placed from MNNIT. Companies like ICICI, Grofers, Axis Bank, Vodafone, Idea etc come for recruitment with an average package of around 5 LPA.

For percentile of 94% your general rank should be around 60k. Your sc rank depends on no. of sc candidates appeared this year in jee mains but after analyzing previous year cutoff your sc rank should be 1800 - 1900. You get admission in NIT/IIT on the basis of your category rank. You can easily get the most demanded branch in NIT Durgapur or in any other engineering college. You can get CSE in NIT Durgapur. In 2019, NIT Durgapur cse cutoff went upto 2600.

You can also check other options like DTU/NSIT/or any other better NIT.
