At this rank, if you're from general category and Jammu is your homes state then you would get CS in NIT Srinagar for sure. And by chance, if you don't( though chances are almost negligible) you will get it in spot round. Read the article below for more details regarding CSAB special round.

Hello aspirant as per your jee mains percentile and this year qualifying  cutoff releases by NTA 2019 was 89.56. According to this you have not cleared the cutoff so you are not eligible for any of the nits or iiits or gftis. But if you have any reservation quota sc ,st ,obc, ews . Then according to that you are eligible for NIT. Then there is a probability of you to get any of the branches in NIT SRINAGAR .

My suggestion would be to go with Mechanical at NIT Raipur, the reason being it is older, better ranked than NIT Srinagar. Placement wise also NIT Raipur is better. The average package of NIT Raipur is Rs 7.2 lakhs whereas the same for NIT Srinagar is Rs. 6 lakhs. 

Companies like Adobe, Oracle, JP Morgan, Wipro, Samsung, Amazon visit NIT Raipur for recruitment.

Hello Someone 22, you had a decent chance to get admission in NIT, Srinagar in computer science branch. As you are from General category and with home state quota, you had a decent chance to get a seat in NIT, Srinagar in early rounds of counseling. Best of luck to you.

Dear aspirant,Kudos on clearing JEE MAINS examination.As per the previos year cutoff for NIT srinagar for home state student belonging to general category and gender neutral,the opening rank for CSE branch was 25541 while the closing rank was 49401.So their are very high chances of getting CSE branch in NIT-srinagar.

I sm sorry to tell you but it would really be a miracle if the cutoff rank shifts for almost 2000 for getting NIT Srinagar. So No, I don't think you will be able to get the college by the end of the counselling session of JOSAA 2019. I hope this information was helpful!
