Yes,my college have sufficient infrastructure. About my department (Cs) is very well furnished. It is highly and newly constructed. Which have sufficient lab and hall size, faculty room. Cse department labs are have much more computer
I just want to study at my home town so I choose this college. The college is not so good. Many professors are very well educated and having a good knowledge. The curriculum or syllabus is not updated
The average placemat of my college is 3.6 lpa. Mostly company were visit this year. My college is so supportive for placemat. In cse department about 60% student got placed. Mostly company like Infosys ibm TCS are visit every year.
The total fees for college is 70000. The mess charges and hostel charges are not include this. Yes I get my money worth
My college is moderate. Some features are so good and some are not. Location colleges is near River chambal. It is safe.
I would recommend to admit this college if your jee main rank is not so good. If you work hard then nothing is impossible
In my opinion the infrastructure of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota is quite good. Though, some buildings are old but the facilities like sports and library with lakhs of books, etc are quite hard to find in other colleges.
BIG NO To PI The Proffesors here are okay. To be honest if you are in mechanical department, the teachers are strict and may have mood swings. You have to be wary of their mood and talk according. Dont take branches like PI and EIC.
Many companies come for campus placements. I got a very good on campus offer because I was university topper and my achievements in various fields helped my CV stand different. So you have to be dedicated all rounder to achieve your dream package.
Overall good college for core branches. In my opinion, refrain from taking admission in lesser known branches like PI,EIC. But if you are dedicated, like me, then the sky is the limit!
Its a government college and I feel satisfied here. Most of the buildings are old, but, it serves the purpose well. The LT and CS, IT buildings are advanced and newly built. Apart from various sports grounds, lawn tennis court and cafeteria are under construction.
Most of the teachers here have good nature and deep knowledge of their subjects. I am in 1st year, ECE branch. The quality of lectures is very good. The teachers are quite responsive to the queries outside academics as well.
The placements are not that good in RTU Kota. You see the average package is quite less. So you have to work hard to achieve your dream pacakage. You see we have dedicated teacher for entrepreneurship, so thats also a good option.
When I entered the college I was taken . It was not as bad as I assumed. In fact, the first year hostels are awesome. It is newly built, so is the CS IT building and LT. The labs are well equipped too.
Most of the teachers are good and cooperative. I am studying in 1st year, branch is ECE. Whenever I feel like asking any doubt or approach them for general advice, there is no problem. The lecture quality is better than few NITs.
Placements are average here. Average package is arpund 3 lacs. Since its not an iit or nit, so the package is directly proportional to the skills the student has. This reflects in the fact that highest package is 22 lacs something.
The college infrastructure is average. The campus is clean and neat. It is a lush green campus with various gardens. The Lecture theatre and Computer department is modern. Other buildings are old. The hostel of 1st year is awesome.
I am ECE 1st year student. Academics is one of the things I feel is very good in this college. The faculty is experienced and very helpful. The seniors are also very helpful. The quality of teaching is at par with few NITs.
It is not very strong section of this college. The average package is 3 to 4 lacs only but a positive thing is that a lot of companies comes here. Also, the alumini network is awesome so if you are talented and skilled enough, you will set the bar way higher than this average.
for first there's a separate building , common to all branches , which is quite okay . But for the second year there's a separate building for CSE and IT , and for PETROLEUM , which is quite good in terms of infrastructure . For other branches like civil , EIC , etc , there's a lecture theatre. yes there are equipments available. for class we have smart boards and have wifi in library , e-learning platform is present. theres a foortball and cricket , volleyball , basketball court is present too.
i am persuing information technology since i like technology. almost all faculties are IITs or NITs post graduates. Many are PHDs too. classes are quite regular , so there's no problem in that . only in first year there may be delay in some classes. Some professors are quite senior and experienced though. curriculum is quite updated since almost all syllabus have been update in 2018 or so.
many companies visit the campus , for cse an IT the placements in okay if you have good cgpa , you will get it. infosys , tcs generally these service based companies visits. for Aeronautical which is relatively new , there may be less placements. and for rest of the branches the placements are quite okay. for cse placementss are about 60% and for the rest of the branches its less than that. highest package was about 21 lakh for petroleum branch. avg pacakage is 2-3 lakh/annum.
Yea. I think yes. I pay about 70k a year .since its a govt. college , the degree have high value. and there are almost all facilities available in campus. you can have library , wifi , etc . and also its a university , so for sure this tag will benefit.
campus life is quite good. campus is situated on the banks of river. overall greener but quite harsh in summers. students can engage in sports activities. almost all sports is present except for tennis. otherwise there is an indoor stadium. table tennis , badminton court , gymming , volleyball , football ground , cricket ground , basketball court , these are present. students and teachers are quite supportive especially the seniors.
overall my experience was quite okay . if you can manage things , if you can show some dedication then there is no one stopping you to get land at a good post. And one more thing , always take help from seniors.
It is a good college with mediocre infrastructure. But, the campus is beautiful. We have in campus bank, football, cricket, badminton, lawn tennis grounds, etc. Apart from this, LT, RMH hall is also there. The labs are well equipped.
Well, the teachers are quite helpful and responsive. I am in EC first year. Most of the teachers come regularly to class and give lectures. In some subjects, teachers are absent but new recruitment will take place soon.
The placements are average here. Because its not an IIT or NIT, there is no tag factor, hence it reflects in the average package of 3 to 4 lacs per annum in companies which are mass recruiters. But for skilled students, package may shoot up!
The infrastructure is average. Neither that good nor that bad. The campus is beautiful tough. If you are a sports lover, you are going to love this place as we have a football ground, cricket ground, Lawn tennis, etc facilities.
I am in 1st year Electronics and communication undergraduate. The teachers here are experienced. Most of the subjects have up to date syllabus. The teachers are devoted and sometimes I feel that they are as devoted as our school teachers used to be!
Well this is the section where this college lags behind others. By others I mean renowned colleges like NITs. Average package is around 3 4 lacs as I heard from seniors. Though, studious and talented students will skills get much much more than that!
Come here if you are getting decent branch.
Most buildings are old except CT and IT. LT is also quite new and advanced. The Campus is lush green and you can see students relaxing in gardens. The labs are well maintained so are the classrooms though some fans dont work.
I am studying Electronics and Communication here. The teachers here are quite cooperative. They help whenever we approach them and they are quite easily approachable. The curriculum is updated in some courses and is old in another.
The placement is not that good. You see its a government college and not prestigious one so tag does not help here. It reflects in placements data as the average package is around 4lpa. The highest one goes upto 20 lacs
It is ok. Buildings are old. Some building are new. Lawn Tennins court and cafeteria is under construction. Several other new buildings are under construction. Sports facilities are good. We have a bank in campus.
Average studies. I am doing B.tech in RTU Kota. My branch is EC. Syllabus is quite old in most of the subjects. But Most of the teachers give emphasis on studies. They are not here for money only. They deliver good lectures.
Its government college and alumni network is quite good. So due to that, the talanted students gets rewarded in the foem of good packages. Otherwise you have to settle with 4 lacs to 6 lacs. So you have to be full of skills.
70000 thousand tuition fees. I think it is good when compared to the quality of teaching.

Hi
hope you doing well
You may have a chance to get Computer Science (CS) in government engineering colleges, but it will likely depend on specific cutoffs and seat availability.
With an 85.79 percentile, you may have a chance to secure a CS seat in RTU Kota, but it could be competitive. It will depend on how high the cutoff goes for general category students in the CS branch.
Other government-affiliated colleges under REAP may offer you a better chance for admission into CS or related branches like IT.
Participation in state-level counseling can give you a wider range of options.
