Gurucharan College provides B.A. programmes in various subjects such as English, Bengali, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Economics, etc. Admission is made on the basis of CUET UG marks and 10+2 marks. The college provides 580 intake seats in different B.A. courses, of which popular courses such as B.A. in Bengali take 130 seats and B.A. in Political Science takes 100 seats.
The college offers B.Sc. courses in Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Zoology. Admissions are also accepted on CUET UG marks and 10+2 science subject marks. The total B.Sc. intake is approximately 550 seats, while programmes like B.Sc. in Botany, Mathematics, and Zoology have 70 seats each.
Gurucharan College has B.Com. (Honours) course with 150 seats. Admission is based on CUET UG marks and 10+2 marks in Commerce or equivalent.
The college has a self-financed BBA course with 60 seats. Admission is based on CUET UG marks and may have additional requirements as specified by the college.

The Bengali department is quite good, the teachers are supportive, encouraging and qualified but they sometimes don't take classes. The curriculum is updated but it should focus more on students overall skills development.
The course i did was bachelor of science. Our department has good number of qualified teachers and they are very supportive, friendly in nature. The curriculum is updated and the course helped me to get a lots of knowledge.
Academically speaking, i did my bachelor degree in anthropology, the department is good, the teachers are student-friendly, well qualified. The curriculum was updated and it includes all the recent development in the field.
