The GC college has good infrastructure, facilities and equipments. The classrooms are quite big and can accommodate students around 50 or more. There is NCC, nss also available. The canteen food is good and also many nearby restaurants available. But no wifi facility available.

The Bengali department is quite good, the teachers are supportive, encouraging and qualified but they sometimes don't take classes. The curriculum is updated but it should focus more on students overall skills development.

Till now in th college there is no placements facility and there is no placements cell at the campus. But now the college has upgraded into university so maybe now we can expect more development initiatives from the administration.

The gurucharan college is located in silchar town, so we have all the facilities like stationary shops, eateries, just in a walkable distance. The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The library has good number of books. The living spaces are clean. Though the wifi, smart boards are not there.

The course i did was bachelor of science. Our department has good number of qualified teachers and they are very supportive, friendly in nature. The curriculum is updated and the course helped me to get a lots of knowledge.

There is no on-campus placements at the college and the students do not receive any opportunities and internships through college so it is a big problem according to me and It needs college's urgent attention and do something regarding this.

There is no smart board though projectors and all are there. Living spaces are very clean and the common ground is quite big and lots of trees are there.

Academically speaking, i did my bachelor degree in anthropology, the department is good, the teachers are student-friendly, well qualified. The curriculum was updated and it includes all the recent development in the field.

In terms of placements, the college administration does not provide any kind of placements, and internships to its students. If someone is looking for immediate joining after college then this may not be an ideal option.

The GC college silchar is a very big college in silchar town. We have a very big ground where everyone sits under trees and spends time. There is labs, library, sports center, ncc, nss, etc available. It is located inside the town you will get very affordable food outside. Canteen food is good.

In my degree time there was no on campus placement facility. And now also I can say it is not there. In fact no other college in silchar provides placements except Assam University. So, if your goal is to get campus placement this might. Not be a right choice.

I have done my graduation in commerce from here. The quality of teaching is very good. The teachers are very friendly and helpful. They were well experienced. I learned a lot from them. the curriculum was updated.

The college lacks on campus placements. I have done my graduation in 2014 but till now placements are not available as I have contacts of my relatives who are currently doing. so, nothing can be said about highest salary and all.

My college was very good, the area of the college was quite large. Classrooms were average when I used to study but it was in work in progress but now it's quite developed. Overall, the grounds are good and campus is clean.

I've studied Bcom in GC college and the quality of teaching is also nice. Professors and teachers are quite friendly and knowledgeable. I think the curriculum is updated now and they are also trying for placements.

During our time there was not so exposure to placements and no good companies used to come for recruitment but recently I think they have started to work on placement of the students who really deserve it and make them job ready for it.
