In india, now a days, all college have anti ragging club or rules. Even if it is not there, the college makes it sure that there is no ragging. Especially in reputed colleges there is no ragging. But it becomes doubtful when it comes to lower level private colleges. The management will be unmindful of these activities. But most of the reputed private and govt colleges are free of ragging.

BE in electrical and electronics engineering, is a four year full time undergraduate level degree programme offered by Andhra university.

Fees : 40000

Rating :AAAA (Very good)

Placements : Rate of placements is around 60-70 percent, with a highest package of 12 LPA last year and a median salary of 3.5 lakh per annum.

Infrastructure and other facilities are well maintained. Hostels are available and are clean. Faculty is also really supportive and helping for students.

ECE at SV university

btech in electronics and communication engineering is a four year full time undergraduate level degree programme offered by sri venkateshwara university, tirupati.

Fees : approximately 25.23K per annum

Rating: NAAC grade A

Placements : There are no guaranteed placements here. However, internships are provided to students who are well deserving. Placements are not very good for this university.

Infrastructure and other facilities is really good here. Faculty is highly qualified and focussed on the curriculum, since it is govt affiliated college.

Environmental engineering is a sub branch in civil engineering. Very few colleges offer B.E. in civil environmental engineering.
In GATE exam you will have to opt for civil engineering as your branch. There is no civil environmental engineering branch available in gate. Through gate you can go for higher studies such as M.Tech or M.E. and also get yourself placed into public sector undertakings (PSUs).
PSUs such as IOCL, GAIL, COAL India recruit through gate. For this a very high score ( above 80) in gate is required.

For further studies that is after B.E you can go for M.E. or M.Tech in environmental engineering. IITs, NITs and government colleges offer environmental engineering M.Tech courses.

Change of branch in B.tech is very common after completion of 1 year. But not all Universities allow this. Many NITs don't allow sliding. As of Andhra University, Slide to B.tech CSE is really unlikely to happen. But earlier, students of B.tech Civil  took slide to B.tech mechanical. This is among the discretionary powers of college authorities and also greatly depends on the vacancy of seats.
