As per the NIRF report of 2025, 760 out of 901 graduates at UG level and 2103 out of 2473 students at PG level got placed in Andhra University placements 2024.
NIRF report of 2025 stated that, Andhra University median salary offered to placed graduates in placements 2024 ranged between Rs 4.10 Lakhs (3 year UG course) to Rs 7.58 Lakhs (4 year UG course) for UG graduates and Rs 4.50 Lakhs (3 and 6 year PG course) to Rs 6.70 Lakhs (2 year PG course) for PG students.

Andhra University Placement Process 2025
- Andhra University placement cell invites various firms for on-campus placements. The firms provide information about the candidates that they are looking for and the salary packages that they are ready to offer. With this information, the university sends them the date of their on-campus arrival.
- Once Andhra University placement cell has the information, they organise many pre-placement talks with the students. The students are informed about the companies and their objectives. Further, to enhance the students, AU placement cell also hosts mock tests and mock interviews.
- When the company is on-campus, the students are requested to submit their resumes along with other required documents. Then the students appear for a written exam for the respective company.
- If a student clears the written test, he is called for the group discussion round. The candidates that further clear the group discussion round are called for personal interviews with the HR and the other interviewing committee.
- Once the student clears the final round of recruitment, the company sends an offer letter explaining the role of the student in the firm and the salary package that he is offered.

Yes, you can get a free seat in Andhra University for a degree course, but it depends on certain conditions. If you come from a family with a low income or belong to a reserved category like SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minority, or Kapu, the Andhra Pradesh government provides a scheme called “Jagananna Vidya Deevena.” Under this scheme, the government pays your entire college tuition fee directly to the college on your behalf. This means you don’t have to pay anything for your education.
Apart from that, Andhra University also offers some scholarships for students who have good marks or rank high in entrance exams (if required for your course). If you perform well in academics or entrance tests, the university may give you a full or partial fee waiver.

for diploma holders seeking admission to Andhra University, the rank considered depends the entry scheme. if you are applying through the lateral entry scheme, the ECET rank will be considered. AUEET is for admission into the 6 year integrted B.Tech program, not for lateral entry.
