In 2020 a candidate with rank 2197 belonging to BC-A category secured admission to Computer Science Engineering in A U COLLEGE OF ENGG. VISAKHAPATNAM. Considering the cut off you need to secure a rank around 2100. To secure such rank you should aim to score minimum 100-110 marks or above in AP EAPCET. This an estimated score the actual rank corresponding to the score may vary. This year the rank will be determined based on marks scored in AP EAPCET only, the marks scored in the qualifying examination will not be given any weightage. The cut off is different for each category and discipline. The cut off for admission in Andhra University lower compared to other institutes. The cut off is also subjected to change depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. If you belong to general category you should aim to score minimum 120-130 marks or above in AP EAPCET to get seat in Andhra University. If you belong to BC/EWS category you should aim to score minimum 110-120 marks or above. If you belong to SC/ST category you need to score minimum 100 marks or above in AP EAPCET. This year weightage is not given for marks scored in qualifying examination that is 10+2. So the rank is determined based on marks scored in AP EAPCET alone. Hope you are doing great. Yes, You can are eligible to give the entrance examination of AP LAWCET in order to join the AU(Andhra University). The Eligibility criteria to give the exam is the candidate must have taken and passed the 10+2 exam or a test with a recognized equivalent. They must have completed Class 12 in any field with a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 45%. Candidates who have taken the Class 12th or an equivalent exam but have not yet received their results are also eligible as long as they present documentation of this at the time of admission. The appropriate legal institutions waive the minimum mark standards for candidates who fall within the reserved category.
