This year in first phase AP EAPCET (Bi.P.C) counselling a candidate belonging to BC-D category with rank 6212 secured admission to Pharm D in Andhra University, School of Pharmacy-Self Finance, Vishakapatnam. Considering the cut off for BC-D category and your rank it is quite difficult to get seat in Pharm-D in Andhra University, School of Pharmacy-Self Finance, Vishakapatnam. The cut off for admission to Government Institutes will be lower compared to the private institutes. So, to have decent chances of getting seat in a Government Institute your rank must be under 8000.  The cut off is subjected to change every year depending on difficulty level of examination, number of candidates applied, top score, number of seats available etc.

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam does not offer Bachelor of Computer Application course but the course is offered in its affiliated institutes and the eligibility criteria is that you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised board or University. So, you can apply for admission to BCA in affiliated institutes of Andhra University even if you haven't studied Mathematics and Computer Science in 10+2 level provided you must fullfil the minimum percentage requirement and other essential qualification as specified by the institute in which you are seeking admission. Acharya nagarjuna college in andra pradesh provides distance learning .

Eligibility for distance learning:

Applicants must have completed their B.Ed with a minimum grade point average of 50 to 55 percent.

Candidates from the reserved category will be given a 5% reduction in the maximum qualifying marks required for admission.

The reserved category includes candidates from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer)/Disabled, who will be functional according to the rules of the Central or State government.

Some top colleges, such as IGNOU, require candidates to have two years of teaching or professional experience after completing a B.Ed in a Government/Government recognised school/NCTE recognised teacher education/education research institution.

According to the latest cut off released by the Allahabad university on 27 th of November,  it states that from all category students securing above 174 marks are eligible to apply. So you should wait for more lists to be released.

The first cutoff for the Allahabad University has been released and counciling started from November 24 to November 25. The cutoff is 187. Hoping you to be of general category chances are very rare. But You should wait for more counsellings.

Hi, there are chances that you get a seat in the next round of counselling. If you were expecting a college and you did not get any then check your list and make changes if you wish to have an optimum result from the counselling. Check your list once. Really sorry , but there are less chances for you to get the seat in Andhra University with this but it also depends upon the category from which you belong whether you belong to a reserved or unreserved category because the rank for unreserved categories goes much higher than the reserved category and the rank criteria varies from year to year sometimes the rank will be more and sometimes less. Rank depends upon various other factors as well. So, don't loose hope and wait for the cutoff of the respective institution.
