Highest package was 29.75 LPA, average salary being 4.48 LPA. 628 Students were placed out of 873. For CSE, 95% of the students were placed. Some of the top recruiters include TCS, AMAZON, IBM, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, MEDHA, HYUNDAI, BOSCH.

Andhra University

It is advised that you mention the name of the college you are taking admission in, because there are two engineering college under AU and none of them offer B.Tech in Information Technology. However, general placements statistics are as follows:

According to 2019 report, highest package offered was 7 LPA and average package was 4.25 LPA.

According to 2021 peer reviews, about 40% of the students got placed in this college. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. Wipro and Infosys are top recruiters.

Hi, the course fees for CSE in JNTUK is 45,300 rupees per year. Andhra university has not published but it would be around this amount. Both colleges are Government colleges and JNTUK has more intake in fact almost double of Andhra university.  Andhra university is a better option than JNTUK. Here is Andhra University placement details, the procedure for placements is as such:

Step 1: The university’s Placement cell talks to the various firms for on-campus placements. The firms provide information about the candidates that they are looking for and the salary packages that they are ready to offer. With this information, the university sends them the date of their on-campus arrival.

Step 2: Once the placement cell has the information, they organize many pre-placement talks with the students. The students are informed about the companies and their objectives. Further, to enhance the students, the placement cell also hosts mock tests and mock interviews.

Step 3 : When the company is on-campus, the students are requested to submit their resumes along with other required documents. Then the students appear for a written exam for the respective company.

Step 4: If a student clears that, he is called for the group discussion round. The candidates that further clear the group discussion round are called for personal interviews with the HR and the other interviewing committee.

Step 5: When the student qualifies that, the company sends him an offer letter explaining the role of the student in the firm and the salary package that he is offered.

The average salary for B. Tech. : INR 400000

Total number of students who got placed-464 (in different courses)
