Undoubtedly, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam is one of the best colleges for Engineering , especially CSE and ECE Branch . And no doubt, they follow their schedule correctly, that's also before deadline.

Overall hostel facility provided by Andhra University is very good. Foods provided in the mess are hygienic and also liked by most of the students. Boys hostel is within the campus but girls hostel is just few minutes away from the campus . Hostel remains clean and maintained and in case of rooms , 2-3 students need to share a single room.

In case of communication skills it varies as combination of all types of students are present. So you need to do it accordingly. But if you are truly eagered in improving it, you can do so.

And at last, if you have got a chance to complete your course from this University , you should not leave this opportunity at any cost.

Even though you belong to Open Category, you can take advantage of EWS Quota reservation as you possess the certificate. But before going to predict the colleges, let me make the thing clear about these University Region Areas and Local and Non-Local criteria in AP EAMCET.

Andhra Pradesh is divided into 3 Regions on the basis of location of 3 principal universities of the state - Andhra University Region (AU); Osmania University Region (OU) and Sri Venkateswara University Region (SVU).

• AU Region includes Nagarjuna University area.
• OU Region includes Kakatiya University area.
• SVU Region includes Sri Krishnadevaraya University area.

Now, the applicants who are from SVU region are regarded as Non-Local for OU while OU region candidates are Non-Locals for SVU Region and so on. Another thing to keep in mind is the Locals of a particular Region will get higher priority than the Non-Locals of that region, even if all of them belong to same state (i.e. Andhra Pradesh).

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that if you want to about the good placement scenario then gvp will be a better option for cse . Its holds 200 in nirf ranking but stills holds very good alumi network due to which many good companies comes in campus to hire students . Faculities are also very well experienced. The average package goes around 5 lakhs and highest went upto 33lakhs
