Andhra University is one of the most reputed, imperial and high ranked government Institutes of the state. To secure a seat for admission in this college, a candidate needs to be among the best rank holders of the state. Securing a seat in Computer Science Engineering or in core areas like mechanical and electrical engineering, it is even more difficult. At a paltry open rank of above 20000, it is highly unlikely that you will get admission in Andhra University in any of the branches that you have mentioned. In fact to be part of this government college, the open category rank should be like within 1500 to 2000 atleast. The only way you can get admission in this Institute is through your defence quota. Still, the chances are kinda mediocre as it all depends upon the number of seats available in defence category which are again limited in nature. Unless you have some strong reservation like that of SC or ST, it is highly unlikely that you will find a seat in the desired Institute.
