Hello Naman, you can get admission in various branches across all the 3 campuses of BITS. Based on 2018 cutoff, you can get the chemical, civil, and manufacturing branch in Pilani campus. You can also get B.Pharm in Pilani and Hyderabad campus. You can get chemical and mechanical branch in Goa campus. I suggest you check out the BITSAT 2018 Cutoff given below and then finalize your decision:

Hello Diya, Your daughter won't be able to get CSE in BITS Pilani because the cutoff for BITS Pilani last year was 378, Even if the cutoffs come down this year its very unlikely that it will go below 360-365. But there's a very good chance that she will get CSE in BITS Hyderabad because BITS Hyderabad had a cutoff of 334 in 2018. Below are the cutoffs of BITSAT 2019. I suggest you take a look at it along with your daughter and then make your final decision:

You would be able to get all courses other than the CSE and ECE branches on the basis of previous year trends on the above mentioned sccore.

You could even take a M.Sc course and pursue a B.Tech course provided your GPA is high enough(it is not that high to not achieve it).

As per the last iteration of BITSAT 2018,the cutoffs were

274/450 in the Pilani campus and 258/450 in the Hyderabad campus.

On the basis of last year's cutoffs,you might get B.Pharm in both the above mentioned campuses.

You would not be able to get the other courses on the basis of your marks.

NOW THOUGH YOUR SCORE IS 300 STILL YOU HAVEN'T CLEARED THE % CRITERIA SO YOU ARE NOT ELIGILBLE FOR BITS!

BITS,Pilani and BIT,Mesra are two different colleges.To get admission into colleges like Bits Pilani,Bits Goa,Bits hyderabad you have to clear BITSAT.To get admission into Bit,Mesra you have clear jee mains.Bit,Mesra is funded by government and does not take admission on the basis of BITSAT marks.Hope you can find the difference now.

Hey, congratulations on such a good score. 

As per the previous year trends, the cutoff for mechanical engineering at birla institute of technology, hyderabad, is about the mark range of 290-300 range.

It has been dropping since the last 2 years too.

So you can expect to get waitlisted on such a score. But there are other branches too and you can change your branch after a year if it is allowed ( ask during the counselling process). The same applies for bits goa although the cutoffs are a bit lower.

See the marks u have scored is too low for u to bag a seat in any of the BITs college under any of the stream to pursue ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under btech courses as the cut off is above 300-310 marks. U should be going for other private college and that might require management quota.
