what is maximum marks in 12th for direct admission in bits pilani

Hello,
BITS doesn't gives admission on the basis of class 12th board percentage instead of it ,BITS PILANI gives admission to candidates through their own entrance exam called BITSAT.You have to score atleast 75% aggregate in physics,chemistry and mathematics with each of p,c,m at least 60% in class 12th board exams.You need to visit on it's website to apply for BITSAT 2018.

Can commerce graduates apply for BITS Pilani? for MBA?

No commerce student can not apply for BITs Pilani, Only B.E./B.Tech in Engineering student can only apply for MBA programme. You can also check the eligibility with the given below link.

Hey siddhesh! Birla institute of technology and science conducts its own entrance exam called BITSAT. And it is the only exam through which you can get into BITS. CAT score can not be used for applying for BITS. For an MBA in entrepreneurship you must consider other colleges.

I am a B.Tech graduate with 72.6% marks, 12th 71.25% , 10th 72%. My CAT 2017 Percentile is 55.74.What is the possibility of getting in BITS?

Your profile is an average profile. If you want to pursue MBA from BITS pilani you will have to appear for an exam called BITSAT which is conducted by the college itself. You can't take admission in that college by appearing for any other exam.

Various facilities available in the hostels:

- Every room has proper lighting facilities and a fan. Each single room is provided with a bed, a study table, a chair and an almirah. These things double in case of a double room.

- Every wing (generally of 12 rooms each) has its own adequate number of bathrooms, washrooms etc.

- Every room has a LAN connection (two in the case of double rooms) available at no extra costs. Internet / Intranet facilities can be accessed at reasonable speeds for 24 hours.

- Coolers etc. are not allowed in the hostel premises.

- Every hostel has two (or more) common rooms (casually called as the TV room and the TT (Table Tennis) room).

- Every hostel has got two grounds within the premises (called as QTs) for sports like volleyball and badminton.

- Adequate drinking water facilities are available at each floor of every hostel.

I want to know that,BITS give good placement in B.TECH CSE at constant rate each year. is BITS is able to provide good companies every year.

BITs Pilani campus has consistently clocked near to 100% placements with aroubd 20% students receiving pre Placements offers with Internship organization.

The college provides state of art Infrastructure and bestinclass faculty with experience and hence, the brand reputation index is too good, which attracts huge number of companies.

For CSE,

Around 30% students got package over 10lakhs with highest oackage at 24lpa, students size of 150 got placed within 2days itself.

In 2014&2015, highest package was by Google and Microsoft at 1.4crore.

The college has dedicated Placements cell and will surely attract phenomenal Placements every year.

Does bits or vit or MIT or SRM provide rooms on individual basis or the student has to share room with others?

Mainly individuals rooms are made available only to seniors as I had seen in SRM so maybe in most of the universities same criteria are followed on.If you're feared of ragging so just leave it nothing much happens in ragging.

Nice infrastructure, AC class rooms, clean washrooms, well-maintained campus, pretty flowers everywher, pretty pretty snake path and last but not the least, how can I forget our iconic clock tower haha!!

College Infrastructure

As everyone know Birla institute of technology and science Pilani campus is best over all campus. It have a best infrastructure new and well furnished building and classes with AC and all facilities. Free wifi in all over the campus, well maintained hostels with security.

My experience at BITS is quite amazing and wholesome.

College Infrastructure

The college is well equipped, have best of infrastructure and amazing labs and workshops. The food points carter to everyone’s tastes and are open late night. The overall infrastructure of BITS pilani is good.
