How to prepare for BITS Pilani 2018. Is there any common mistakes students do during preparation.

Prepare as per the syllabus of BITSAT. Focus on the topics which carries more weightage in the exam.

Refer previous year papers to understand the exam pattern and level of questions.

NCERT should be your first prefrence. Questions in BITSAT is generally concept based don’t waste time solving lengthier questions. Almost seventy percent of the question paper is formula based.

The most important out of all the BITSAT tips and tricks is and most efficient is time management. Solve as many as mock test series to increase your speed as it is very important. There are bonus questions in BITSAT you can only solve them if your speed is good.

You should read newspaper for Logical Reasoning and English Proficiency.

Below are the some of the common mistakes which students usually do which you can avoid

1- Students generally don't have much idea about the type of questions asked in the exam.

2- Poor time management

3- Stuck at one question

4- Confuse whether to go for extra questions or not

5- Studying new topics before 1 or 2 days before the exam.

Hello I will give Jee main, vit, bits etc. Plus state cets. I want to know can I use calculator normal or scientific i any competitive exam.

No, calculator is not allowed in any entrance test of Engineering whether it is national level entrance like Jee, state level exam like IPUCET and private exams like BITSAT, VIT,SRM etc. You can also check the exam guidelines as most of them mention that "No Electronic Gadgets are allowed in Exam Hall including Calculator".

What is the salary package offered in the field of mechanical engineering in BITS Pilani....??

BITS pilani is highly reputed college with best Infrastructure in the country and is consistently ranked in top 20 Engineering colleges.

Overall NAAC A graded college with total fees of 13lakhs for 4year duration.

Qualification Exam: BITSAT.

The top Comapnies for recruitment are as below and are classified as Dream Companies.
Maruti Suzuki, Brahmos, Tata Tech, Michelin ,TCE, M&M, L&T, Tata Motors, Linde India, DHL, Tata Steels, Hero Morocorp, GE Oil&Gas, UTC F&S.

PLACEMENTS OVERVIEW:--

Placements of the college are very good. More than 90% students get placed every year.
The minimum salary offered is 4 lakhs per annum and the maximum is 10.5 lakhs per annum. Many companies in different streams visit the college for placements. Some companies come for internships only and they provide pre-placement offers to the selected students. Almost 98% of students get an internship from the college. Companies visiting the college are from core fields as well as from non-core fields.

Which bits pilani campus is good? Pilani/GOA/Hyderabad

BITS Pilani is the best among all 3 campuses. BITS, Pilani Campus is rated above some of the NITs and IITs also.

As per Careers360, ratings of 3 campuses are:

BITS, Pilani- AAAA+ (Outstanding)
BITS, Hyderabad - AAAA (Very Good)
BITS, Goa - AAA+ (Good)

Do i get admission in bits pilani if i score 85 percentile in CAT?

Yes with a decent profile if you score 85 percentile in CAT exam then you can get a call from BITS Pilani. Eligibility criteria is that you need to be an engineer with scoring above 60% in graduation.

With 85 percentile you can even apply for some other good colleges like IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI, MISB Bocconi etc. which are much better than BITS Pilani for pursuing your MBA degree in any specialization course.

If possibly you can push your percentile to 90+ percentile then you will be able to open a whole new series of colleges available to get admission for you like IIT Kanpur, Kharagpur, Delhi, Madras.

As very less time is left for CAT exam so in order to push your percentile you need to brush up on your basics and give up lots of online mock test and analyse each test's solution thoroughly which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.

How many marks should one get in intermediate ap board to get direct entry into bits and niits

You can check the criteria below for BITSAT Exam. Can you please clarify are you asking for NITs or NIIT Neemrana? BITSAT To be eligible for admission under the 'Direct admission to Board toppers' scheme, you should be the topper from the science stream having taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects in 12th. To identify the topper, the following criteria will be adopted. a) has taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination and b) has obtained the highest aggregate percentage of marks in 12th class among all the students who have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects from the Board.

Nice infrastructure, AC class rooms, clean washrooms, well-maintained campus, pretty flowers everywher, pretty pretty snake path and last but not the least, how can I forget our iconic clock tower haha!!

As everyone know Birla institute of technology and science Pilani campus is best over all campus. It have a best infrastructure new and well furnished building and classes with AC and all facilities. Free wifi in all over the campus, well maintained hostels with security.

My experience at BITS is quite amazing and wholesome.

College Infrastructure

The college is well equipped, have best of infrastructure and amazing labs and workshops. The food points carter to everyone’s tastes and are open late night. The overall infrastructure of BITS pilani is good.
