Dear candidate,
Definitely CSE in BIT Mesra, without any doubt!
IIITB is one of those unknown colleges where in the other hand, BIT mesra is one of those three-tier engineering colleges in the entire country with an average placement of 98% each year. If you wanna ace your career game definitely go for BITM. And as far as CSE is concerned BITM is one of the topnotch colleges which, besides nurturing your skills will also shape your personalities as a whole because of the diversified atmosphere that it has now created. The curriculum is updated, the campus life is excellent as so on. The professors are interactive and friendly, there are frequent coding sessions, on which your internal rankings are managed. There's more than just academics that is what college is all about. And I am sure you won't regret a bit. There are lots of plus points howsoever, to know why BITM is the best choice visit the link below:

hello there
answer can vary person to person as per their experience but as for me BIT mesra is better choice than NIT jalandhar . BIT mesra is more reputed and the placements there are compared with IITs ,nit jalandhar is less famous and the placements are also less than bit. however there are some negative points for bit mesra also like higher fees and tough grading . take good time in comparing both the colleges by yourself as you are going to get admissions not others .
best wishes
You should go for NIT JALANDHAR as it is among esteemed institute and has good placements records.
Hi there!
In my opinion,
If you just want the tag of NIT, you may go for NITR, but for a better coding environment,BIT is always a better choice.BIT performs exceptionally well in variour coding contests and is winner of GS We Build Coding Contest 2017,Smart India Hackathon 2017, Amdocs Innovation Challenge 2017.
It produces 3–4 Google Summer Of Code Qualifiers every year. Also, its perfomance in ICPC(considered as Olympics for coding) is way better than NITK.
Now comes most important part, that is placement. In current placement season more than 50 students of CSE(out of 130) have already got a package greater than 20lpa with the average package above 10lpa.
Other than placements, many 3rd year students have got the summer internship and are expecting a ppo.
Companies like Microsoft,Amazon,Goldman Sachs, Direct i, Wallmart Labs visits campus every year for full time jobs as well as summer internship.
Even in further studies, BIT is doing great. Either it is CAT or GATE or MS, BIT have a lot of selections with good rank.
Recently, BIT has started choice based course structure in CSE department. It provides student dozens of subject to choose from according to their choice.
Only problem with BIT is adminstration is not that much supportive which I think is improving.
I think you got all information about BIT.
Here is the Cutoffs of BIT Misra for the last years So hence according to this Cutoffs you can predict whether you will be getting this College or not.

Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs or any other good college as per previous year's cut-offs but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks. As you are talking about BIT Mesra so there are also very low or no chances based upon this rank.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Dear Aspirant,
What do you meant by extension of the cutoff. The number of seats in the NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, are pretty much same as the last year so you might not expect any change at the top of the hierarchy, you might however, see change in the low side.
For example, 80 percentile generally meant a rank beyond 2 lakh, but this year this would meant a rank less than 2 lakh, around 1.7 lac.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Outstanding college The campus is well-maintained with decent classrooms, a library, sports facilities, and Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are average, but improvements in food and hygiene could enhance the experience.
The infrastructure of the college is very good every faculty member here is very much ready to help us out they have a very friendly nature and easy to access them. Almost everyone here is very crispy the college staff also is very helpful polite good nature
The university offers a friendly environment for study. Classrooms are digitalized. The library has approximately more thank 10,000 books, e-books, and IEEE subscriptions for us which helped me in my research work. The auditorium is highly equipped and I was handed my M.Tech degree there.
