Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

You academic profile is very average and most liekly despite having work experience you wont likely to get shortlisted for the BLACKI. However you can try a shot for the new and baby IIMs. Thatswhy I should suggest you to get some work experience first. Them after 4-5 years doing MBA would be a better option.

Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Haave a great day!

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Hi Rishabh.  Considering the marks which you have mentioned, to be on a safe side you would need more than 99 percentile in CAT and 9+ cgpa in your undergraduate. It also depends on your undergrad stream. If you are an engineer, you would need 9+ , for non engineering background like commerce, sciences or arts,  even 8+ would work

Hi Rohan,

You definitely stand a chance to get into IIMs A and C. IIM Bangalore gives a lot of weightage to your 10th and 12th marks and for this reason getting into IIM B might be a bit difficult. But for IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta, you definitely stand chance of getting admission.

All that said, you should also be cleared with the fact that in order to get admission into IIM A / IIM C, your CAT percentile should be 99.5 or greater to be on the safe side considering you are a GEM (General Engineering Male).

Hope this was helpful.

Hello,

Yes, 99 and 99+ percentile students with a good profile have more chances of getting a call from IIM ABC. The call is based on your profile and it seems to be good then you might get a call. Moreover, you have work experience it will add extra benefits.

Hi aspirant,

IIM A/B/C are the topmost B Schools in India and evidently getting into them are difficult.

Your 10th and 12th scores are decent and shouldn't hamper your admission process. They (IIM ABC) do require your graduation percentage as well and try to maintain a percentage of at least 80.(the more the better).

The next hurdle will be the CAT exam and this is the most crucial. Considering you belong to General, Male and a Non-Engineer cutoff for IIM ABC will roughly be around 98.4 - 99.2 percentile (with 80% in graduation).

Hope it was helpful. All the best.

Hello candidate,

Any polio any liver has two points of of reaction one is the point where the force is applied and the second part is where the effort is put on.

In order to specify out the exact points of reactions on the the cantilever you need to provide with the specific diagram so that we can draw free body diagram and point out the acting forces.

Feel free to ask other queries!!

Hello Aspirant ,

Yes , you can definitely get admission into IIM ABC if you work hard and achieve a good percentile in CAT. Work experience is given a lot of preference in IIM B , yet there are mnay freshers who get in IIM ABC yearly. Your graduation score is excellent , and 10th , 12th scores are good enough to get good points for past academics. Also as you are an SC candidate , you will get reservation and the cutoffs will be much lower than General students. Your profile isn't poor at all for IIM ABC.

If you do score 90+ percentile in CAT , you have atleast 85-90% that you'll make it into IIM BLACK and atleast get calls from most of the institutes , depending on your GD-PI , you'll know if you can convert.

Hope this helps you! Good luck!

Hi,

It will be suggested for you to go for the NCERT of both class 11 and 12 before moving on to any of the reference book for JEE preparation. NCERT will help in clearing your basics and making your conceptual knowledge strong. First, be thorough with the NCERT and then move on to any of the good reference books of your choice. Do practice daily and attempt as many mock tests along with reading. It will help in getting more familiar with the exam pattern and will boost confidence.

In general, all IIMs use a two-phase decision-making procedure. The CAT score is a deciding factor in the first phase. The WAT (Written Admission Test) and PI (Personal Interview) stages are completed by the shortlisted candidates from the first phase.

For confirmations, the vast majority of IIMs place the greatest emphasis on the personal interview and the CAT result. Academic cut-offs, previous academic success, appropriate professional experience, gender diversity, and other notable criteria can all influence the ultimate decision.

Each IIM has its unique admission standards, and there has been little change in the CAT cutoff or determination technique and criteria compared to the previous year.

The minimum percentile required for IIM A is 70 percentile for SC category.

Hope this helps
