There is amazing infrastructure of this college. The facilities, the departments and everything is air conditioned. The college is very mesmerizing. Well maintained and contains healthy environment for students.
The academic part is really good that no one can deny. And the best part is that the result or marksheet does not show any kind of back if you have cleared it. So no fear of rejection in getting jobs due to back.
The placement here is not at all good. Companies or the good companies do not come for seeking students for jobs here. Students sit with degree after the course with no job in hands. Students seek jobs only out of campus here.
The course fees for general category students is too much. Its easy for lower caste students to study here in case of money. The course I do not think is worth the fees. They don't even have good internship and job opportunities.
The campus life is so far so good. There are several events conducted regularly. But the annual fest has not been conducted since my admission here even if they get so much money from government. Other than that, the view of campus is literally so good. Its worthy for nature lovers out there.
The infrastructure of this college is quite amazing. The campus, the greenery and most importantly the nature is beautiful for the students. University is really big so you have to walk a lot other than that the college is mesmerizing.
Academics part do not disappoint in this college. The best part of this college is that it does not show any back in the result if you have cleared it. So there is no case of rejection in career due to back in academics.
Placement in not at all good in this college. I have seen seniors of our department jobless. Only certain companies come at this college and they do nothing to improve the placement facilities for students.
It is okay with respect to fees. But the amount that most of the students pay is not worth it. As the fees for general category students is high and not worth the placement. Good value for money for lower caste students.
Campus life is really amazing. The events, dj nights, concerts and several fun things are quite fun here in this college. The campus looks really beautiful and seems like heaven to nature lover students.
The infrastructure in our university is superb. It is a green color campus with hostels having only single-occupancy rooms, our college has very well-maintained and hygienic environment all over the classes and hostels. It has free WiFi available in our hostel rooms. Mess is average. The library is the best asset of our college.
I am pursuing MA in economics as I have completed my grad by doing ba in economy and I have great interest in this subject, I wanted to become a professor. Curriculum is same since many years now. I think one can get a job if he/she will do the hardwork.
The placements are the worst in this college, companies come but only extraordinary students like 2 or 3 students get placed. But once you have a command on your course you can easily go for off campus placement. Some students who got placed has a salary package of 5-6 LPA.
College Provides you labs, hostels, library, stadium and swimming pool facilities and amazing auditorium with a facility of more than 5000 people, All the buildings are well maintained , At the evening you can visit Gbu sarowar.
All the teachers are well qualified and helpful. They will help you in whatever you feel like, Behavior of teachers is really good and polite , The teachers have high degrees like Phd. They are cooperative
Placements are quite average there For B.com the package was of 4 lacs p.a , some of the students from my class were placed and working there, Companies do visit GBU, afterall the college is in the knowledge Hub.
As it is a state university it is value for money you will have fun.
Campus life is amazing there.
The college infrastructure was grand! The university itself is situated in a huge space with everything in place - from proper grounds and swimming pool to a meditation center. Be it different college building for different courses to properly equipped practical labs, the university has it.
Between 2012-16, there was a shortage of permanent staff in atleast our department with only 3 professors to look after the entire civil engineering department. Although there used to be temporary professors, it's not the same thing! W.r.t practical work, the university did not have sufficient equipments and a class of 60 students had to gather around 1 equipment to see how it worked.
There were no placements. None. Not even a mention of it. Infact, even mass recruiters like TCS and Infosys didn't come up. Infact a few students made a committee and reached out to recruiters on the behalf of the college however when the recruiters reached out to the college, the college didn't care to respond back.
It wasn't. For around 8-10 Lakhs of total fees, the college didn't give back anything. A good no. of people I know didn't get a job for atleast 6-7 months after they graduated. The college had no credibility and therefore nothing positive really came out of it.
The campus life was pretty good. Single occupancy gave us the privacy. We were also pretty lucky to witness 2 bollywood movies being shot in the campus with stars like Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Anupam Kher etc. being within an arms reach.
The review is on the basis of 2016. The college's chancellor is the CM of UP so the administration functioning keeeps changing from govt. to government.
This college is the biggest college in the greater Noida and hai 100+ acres of land . The university infrastructure is true good as it's seems like . They have maintained the very best and beautiful garden.
Since according to me teachers are good and most of the teachers are friendly in nature though they don't have PhD degrees at all but the way they teach us is more sufficient and better than any PhD holder teachers.
From the very past this college don't have that much good placements but from the recent few year they are trying to give more and best of best placement to many famous companies . If someone like to come to take admission is good .
college have beautiful campus. the whole campus is spread over 511 acres, college have all necessary infrastructure and facilities at international level college have classrooms with traditional boards and have all major sports grounds, they are providing single occupancy rooms in just 6000 including mess. and they food is also hygienic.
academics is average in the college the quality of teaching is good college have good teachers for MCA. the curriculum is well updated according to recent industry standards, if you study they will make you job ready.
placements are quite average in the college but placement cell is quite active now and recently college have signed MOUs with industry leading companies in various sectors. the highest package is 56 lakhs off campus.
we have to pay 90000 per annum and 165000 including mess and hostel so that i can say that it is affordable and value for money.
campus life for boys is so good for girls they close the boundaries after 6:30pm but morning in campus is soo good there is food complex inside the campus and a bank and post office too.
most underrated college.
college have best infrastructure that i have ever seen the whole campus is spread over 511 acres, college have all necessary infrastructure like deferent type of sports ground like hockey, foot ball, cricket, lawn tennis, basket ball etc. and all things are well maintained. university offers single occupancy hostels in just 6000 with mess.
academics is not that good need much improvement, the quality of teachers is good and curriculum is well updated according to recant industry standards, we got an option to choose our subjects according to industry standards.
taking about placements approx. 3-4 students in batch of 30 got placed and other students opt for higher studies most of students are got placed by off campus. the placement cell is not much active but they are supportive.
can say that college is value for money because for academics we have to pay 50000 per year and 150000 for 3 year BCA program.
campus life is quite awesome if you are morning person you will love the fresh nature and beautiful campus.
overall collage is good.
College has best infrastructure as per I can think of infrastructure wise it's great. Facilities wise also it's best separate field for each sport. Classroom are good but projector doesn't work all the time. Food is also good as per they charge.
As per I noticed a lot of involvement in admission of local people degraded the education level, but taking about curriculum it's updated accordingly the needs of industry. But placement is not good. If you want placement I didn't recommend this.
Placement is below average you have to get your own approach for good company and salary, Because placement committee is not that active in the college they bring some of ed tech companies offering very less salary. Supportive but not well. Even avg is 2.4 lkh I think.
As the college takes less money it's value for money for that aspect.
Campus life is good. 511 acres of campus with around 3500 students get you great campus life with lots of greenery.
Overall college is average.
Yes the college has all the infrastructure facilities and equipment there were ac class room and has central library with proper sports stadiums and those were well maintained and university has the good living space
I studied bcom hons from there and the teaching is done by the well qualified teachers and yes they helped students to get placed and have there career successed and yes the all the fields are well developed
The quality of placement is good but as compared to other private universities the number is less because the university is semi government and almost the students who require jobs are placed avg salary was 7.5 lakhs
My course cost was very less and easily affordable it was just 50k for one year yes i feel my money’s worth because as compared to other universities the fees is less and the value is more of the degree
Its best feature is that it have the lots of space and a lots of greenery and have proper place for everything like meditation centre was there shanti sarovar was there and lots of sculpture too which looks really good in the evening and location was connected with each and every services
I want to say that i had an great and amazing experience over there

Student Preparation for UPSC and GATE:
Many B.Tech students at Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Noida , prepare for competitive exams like UPSC Civil Services (CSE), Engineering Services (ESE), and GATE alongside their studies.
The university does not have dedicated coaching for UPSC CSE or ESE, but students rely on self-study, coaching institutes, and online platforms .
GATE preparation is more common among students from branches like ECE, EE, and ME , and some faculty members guide students for technical exams.
Library and Study Support:
GBU has a well-equipped library where students access study materials for UPSC, GATE, and other government exams.
Some student groups and societies organize discussions and peer-study groups for civil services aspirants.
Placement Scenario at GBU Noida:
Placement opportunities at GBU vary based on the branch and industry demand.
Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, and Cognizant visit the campus for IT and engineering-related roles.
The average salary package ranges from 3 LPA to 6 LPA , depending on the branch and student performance.
Core branches (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) have relatively lower placement percentages in comparison to CSE and IT , but students opt for government exam preparation.
Higher Studies and Research:
Some students prefer higher education options such as M.Tech through GATE or MBA through CAT/XAT .
A few students also explore research opportunities in IITs and NITs through GATE scores.
Conclusion:
While GBU Noida does not provide dedicated coaching for UPSC or GATE , students prepare for these exams independently.
Placement opportunities are available but highly dependent on skills, internships, and individual efforts.
Students interested in government jobs or public sector roles should actively participate in self-study groups, online coaching, and mock tests .
