According to last year cut offs of HBTI Kanpur the cut off rank for chemical engineering in general category is nearly 45000 and for EWS category it is 6000 to 7500 so you have less chances to get admission in this college also.

Hi aspirant, since you have 300K rank in JEE mains and 20000 SC Category rank so based on this let me tell you that there are less chances that you can get into HBTU on this rank if if somehow you get HBTU than it is sure that you have to compromise with the non willing branch in the institution. So you may give it a try for admission there but keep side look on the other colleges as well.

Good Luck.

Dear student,

As you have secured 37000 ews rank in jee mains then your CRL rank must be above 600000. And with this much higher crl ranks you can't get admission in hbti kanpur as per seeing the last year cutoff trends not even in spot round counselling.

Here are the last year's spot round or round 4 counseling, cutoff closing ranks for ews category candidates on the basis of their CRL RANKS for hbti kanpur :-

Bio-chemical Engineering - 67751
Chemical Engineering - 48743
Civil Engineering - 48795
Computer Science and Engineering - 31227
Electrical Engineering - 44726
Electronics Engineering - 41683
Food Technology - 73561
Information Technology - 32958
Leather Technology - 74105
Mechanical Engineering - 46377
Oil Technology - 65799
Paint Technology - 64325
Plastic Technology - 68990

So, as you can see there is no chance of getting even the lowest branch of hbti kanpur with this much huge crl rank.

So better you go with some other private colleges.

Hi, Since you have 1681 rank in UPSEE and you also have a category rank 420 as well so on behalf of that I can say that you can get IT for sure but you may face problem while selecting branch. And same will happen in case of HBTU as well. But if it's a matter of getting admission only so you can get in any of the IET or HBTU .
