It is difficult to tell the exact qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2020 but according to the projected cutoffs you qualify quite safely for JEE advanced.

Could you specify which college you mean so that I can aid you further?

since it is very difficult to predict the exact rank but we do have a backup> we have a formula to calculate the expected rank that is (100 – Total percentile) x 869010/100.

So according to formula your expected rank for present percentile for January session comes out to be 26939  . Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session. For ex if 12 lakh candidate appear the april session then just replace 869010 by 12 lakhs. But if you score above 85 percentile then you have a very decent chance of qualifying jee mains.

Now since the official cutoffs  fro college are yet to be decided but let us analyse your chances by looking into the previous year cutoffs data

Score value can't be said as it is difficult to say due to lots of factors are considered to make rank and the rank cutoff are only available.

Try to score above 80% of total marks to get an admission into IIEST.

Here are the cutoff of some top branches considered in year 2019:-

the maximum rank considered was for metallurgical and material engineering where the cutoff was :-19784-28593

The Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology is one of the best institutes to pursue Engineering courses. The Institute is public institute and ranked 19th in best engineering institutes by NIRF.

The institute does not offer admissions through WBJEE examination. The IISER offers admissions on the basis of JEE Mains Score for Bachelors degree, GATE score for Post Graduation, CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT CMAT score for management courses.

From my research, IIEST shibpur is recognized as an NIT by MHRD and becomes the 32nd NIT of India. College was established in the year 1856 and the second most oldest engineering college in India.collge offers 45 courses in 5 streams and accepts Jee mains, GATE, WBJEE, XAT, CAT, MAT etc.

As per the information provided by you if the rank predicted by you is your category rank then sorry to tell you that in OBC-NCL category you're not likely to get any of the courses offered at IIEST SHIBPUR. Your category rank must be within 12k to 13 k atleast to get any branch in this college.
