B.Tech Civil Engineering in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat has lower fees and B.Tech Civil Engineering in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat has lower cutoff through JEE Main.

Fees of SVNIT is 3.23 Lakh whereas the fees of IIEST is 5.6 Lakh

IIEST has more seats as compared to SVNIT

You can give NATA as well in case you want a seat in IIEST

Cut-off for SVNIT is Rank 41836 whereas the cut off for IIEST is Rank 43885.

Earlier the admission in Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur was based on WBJEE but now admission to IIEST via WBJEE is no longer possible, as IIEST is now a central institute.So, currently the admission to IIEST is based on only JEE MAIN,even if you are of bengal.

If you are from Home State a score of 150–160 is enough to get Aerospace Engineering and for Other State, the marks required is 160–165 in JEE Mains c. In subsequent years it may differ by 5 marks so target for 170 marks. All these marks are given considering that you're from General Category.

They key difference between aerospace and mechanical engineers is that aerospace engineers focus on things that fly or orbit Earth in space while mechanical engineers work on machines and devices that can be used in homes, businesses or outdoors.

Yes you can go for Mtech aerospace engineering after doing bachelor's in Mechanical engineering. You can appear for gate exam after your btech Mechanical engineering.
