Hello there,
Eligibility for admission to the B.Tech program at Jadavpur University for the OBC-A category is primarily determined by your performance in the WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or equivalent entrance exams, as well as the cutoffs set by the university.
Here’s what to consider:
Entrance Exam Scores
: Jadavpur University typically uses WBJEE scores for admission. Ensure you have a good score in WBJEE, as this is a significant factor.
Subject Marks
: Your marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics will be considered for eligibility if you meet the required cutoff in the entrance exam.
Category Cutoffs
: The cutoffs vary each year based on the number of applicants and their scores. Check the previous year’s cutoffs for the OBC-A category to gauge your chances.
Eligibility Criteria : Verify Jadavpur University’s specific eligibility criteria for the B.Tech program, including minimum marks required in individual subjects and entrance exam performance.

Hello Aspirant
Jadavpur University starts their MA admissions in the months of April-May, where they hold entrance tests on their own.
To prepare for their MA in Sanskrit entrance exam, go through their website and look at their BA in Sanskrit syllabus and prepare according to it because colleges that take independent entrance tests usually ask questions based on their syllabus because they want students who are compatible with their institute's curriculum.
You can check out their syllabus for both BA Hons 4-year course with research and 3-year course- https://jadavpuruniversity.in/courses/bachelor-of-arts-in-sanskrit/
Prepare according to this syllabus. The number of seats offered in Jadavpur University for an MA in Sanskrit is 70.
Hope this helps

There can be complications if you accept a JoSAA seat and then decide to go for Jadavpur University (JU) after getting selected through WBJEE counselling.
Accepting a seat in JoSAA and paying the acceptance fee indicates your commitment to that particular college/institute. JoSAA might impose a seat wastage penalty if you decide to withdraw later. The specific penalty amount can vary. Colleges generally don't seize original documents. They might keep attested copies for verification purposes during the admission process.

Hello aspirant,
West Bengal's university is Jadavpur University. After receiving a strong JELET score, you must receive 50% in your diploma in order to be eligible for lateral admission to Jadavpur University. Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry in the Second Year of Study in a Four-Year Degree Level Course is what JELET stands for in essence.
Thank you

Hello Aspirant,
As you mentioned that your sc rank is 10561 and 80% in HS examination let me tell you that your 12th marks are just an eligibility criteria. It has got nothing related with you getting a seat in the college.
There is one such possibility that you might have gone through for which you are not able to get a seat in any college. The choice filling which was done by you and colleges and branches that you have given there had not reached the cut off till your rank.
Secondly, there can be a technical glitch . If you are sure that you should get a seat as per the previous year cut off then you should contact the WBJEE authorities. If they are still unable to answer your query you can comment in the comments section for your problem.
Our University has very good infrastructure. But a little bit old fashioned. But our department has many laboratories such as APPLIED MECHANOCS LAB, HEAT POWER LAB, HYDRAULICS LAB, FITTING SHOP, CARPENTRY SHOP, BLUE EARTH MACHINE SHOP, FOUNDRY SHOP, FORGING SHOP. We also have two computer labs in our department.
The college infrastructure is up to the standard and the students are provided with a conducive learning atmosphere. Classrooms are large and properly placed in the structure, and the library, which contains various sources of books and journals, is adequately provided. The campus is clean and green, and the students are able to enjoy the surroundings.
My college has all the necessary infrastucture , facilities and equipments for the students to study in our campus It has all smart clsses , seminar halls , libraries , sports centres and hostels and wifi also.
