For Jadavpur University,To be eligible, Candidates need to have passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized board in Science stream with Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and with at least an average of 75% marks obtained in Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics. In case of OBC-A/OBC-B category, minimum requirement for average marks to be obtained in the aforementioned three subjects is 67.5%. In case of SC/ST/PD/Sports category, minimum requirement of average marks to be obtained in the aforementioned subjects is 56.25%. In case of disabled candidates, The minimum disability in case of disabled candidates should be 40%.

Hey there, You may get IIT and NIT and other state government College through jee mains rank if and only your cut off is clear, and your NATA score is eligible on only on private institute and some states university. You can try on sir J.J college of architecture through entrance exam and in jadavapur university you have to give their state exam wiz. WBJEE or their university entrance exam.

Jadavpur University is one of the the very renowned universities in West Bengal. Every year they have different opening and closing rank for every stream. For ECE this year the closing rank is 9561 for SC. Hope this serves helpful to you. Good wishes!

Hi there, the required percentage in H.S. for applying to Jadavpur University for ENGLISH (BA) is at least 70% for general candidates. Since you have a score more than that, you are eligible to apply. However, the seats are only 30 and more than 4500 students apply every year. You will have to score very well in the entrance exam to get through. Here is the details of marks requirement for each category -
Department : English
General : At least 70% in aggregate.
SC/ST : At least 52.50% in aggregate.
Sports: At least 60% in aggregate.

College Infrastructure
The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.
My experience at Jadavpur University was great.

College Infrastructure
The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.
Very nice experience.
College Infrastructure
Our University has very good infrastructure. But a little bit old fashioned. But our department has many laboratories such as APPLIED MECHANOCS LAB, HEAT POWER LAB, HYDRAULICS LAB, FITTING SHOP, CARPENTRY SHOP, BLUE EARTH MACHINE SHOP, FOUNDRY SHOP, FORGING SHOP. We also have two computer labs in our department.
