JIIT Noida All Questions

Hi Aspirant,

Both the institutes VIT(Bhopal) and Jaypee Institute of Information Technology(Noida) are amazing. VIT Bhopal is a private state university established in 2017. It offers BTech programmes based on JEE Main/ VITEEE scores. VIT Bhopal has its own training and placement cell to organize the placement procedure for the students. The average package offered is around 7 lakh where the top recruiters are TCS, Virtusa, Infosys, etc.

While JIIT Noida is a private deemed to be university established in year 2004. It offers a total of five courses, of which four are full-time degree programs like BTech , MTech , MSc and PhD , while one is a dual degree that integrates B.Tech and M.Tech. Admissions to JIIT could be done using either JEE main scores or 12th score. Average package offered in placement is around 5 lakh. Top recruiters are Adobe,Infosys,Airtel,etc.

So now it all depends on you which one is more beneficial to you.

Among the three colleges you mentioned, the best option for Btech in CSE must be in the order Thapar University > VIT Vellore > JIIT Noida. As you said you got CSE at VIT, it is a great option in terms of placement and curriculum.

You can take direct admission in JIIT without any obstacle but if you are choose a CSE branch then you might get pain extra charge in the name of donation because of high demand of CSE branch but you will get that. Make sure you have maths and physics in your 12th as compulsory subject.

The rank which you have mentioned is quite decent one and also as you belong to OBC category, you will definitely able to avail the benefits of it. I would definitely recommend you to apply for the JIIT college as it is a quite reputed college and has a great excellence record, only the thing is that you might face difficulties in getting CSE or IT branch because it has a huge popularity among the students which automatically increases its cutoffs and create difficulties for getting it. But definitely your try should be must and also you should try in more colleges as well according to your interest.

As you have secured 86 percentile in JEE mains, your expected rank will be 143220- 161000. Chance of getting admission in Jaypee University will be based on the cut-off ranks of that Institute.

The previous years i.e 2019, cut-off rank of Jaypee University for CSE branch is 54056(for sector62) / 82108(for sector 128) . The cut-off ranks list will changes every year depending on the number of applications, branch and seats availablity.

See, the answer depends upon your most favourable choice if you want to enter in computer science world then go with JAYPEE NOIDA or if you want to enter in electricity and circuits then go with lnmiit.

The placements scenarios are almost similar in both colleges but the seats are more in JAYPEE as compared to LNMIIT which is a plus point when it comes to placement opportunities and competitions. The infrastructure is also better than Jaypee. The average package being offered in JIIT lies in the range of 5-6LPA while in LNMIIT it is approximately 6-7LPA.

The fees structure is almost the same but the most important concern is about the academics. So, in LNMIIT the professors are mostly from IIT while In Jaypee they are not. Placement A is also the same and the average package revolves around 11 LPA.  So, the choice is yours.

Also, the CSE branch is easier compared to ECE in terms of opportunities and subjects.

Comparing two colleges that are just like a twin to the other. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology has been a great college in terms of placements, academic and other activities. JIIT 128 and JIIT 62 are somewhat similar to each other.

But I would suggest you go with the JIIT sector 62 . The reason for choosing JIIT is because of the placement and opportunities provided to the students.

I am mentioning both campuses :

JIIT Secor 62:

• Hostel Availability
• Better placements and Academic
• Dress code
• Better campus
• Sector 62 has better availability and places to hang out as compared to 128.
• Good campus life

JIIT Sector 128:

• No hostel availability
• Placement is lower as compared to that of sector 62.
• Dress code.

Since the fees structure is almost the same on both campuses. It is a student who needs to work upon themselves to change the mindset and improve the skill set. College is responsible for providing you with the degree and opportunities chance. But the real action must be taken by the student itself.

I hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that at your percentile you estimated rank would be around 235290 - 264500 . At this rank you holds very low chances of getting admission in  JAYPEE noida at merit basis . I would advise you to wait for the last if any vacanices arises they will call you as it is a private university and side by side look for other options too
