As an Engg graduate from KLE IT, I take more interest to answer your question.

By giving this opinion I am not saying that KLE IT has not got the talents, it has got many talents but all it needs is ample amount of opportunities which is very less from placements and showcasing point of view.

If you are so talented that you are the top most in your all academics till now and you can come out with flying colours even with many hurdles then go for KLE IT. Choosing KLE IT is like choosing a pizza form local shop over Dominos or PizzaHut pizza.

Now KLE IT has been developing with its students co curricular activities and students friendly events. But KLE TU formerly BVBCET has its legacy of over 50+years and more over its autonomous.

Fun point of view you will really enjoy the life in KLE TU as there will be concerts,DJ events frequently. To be frank KLE IT has no such life as there is only one fest which is conducted like school function.

The main point in engg’s life at the end is placements so as I have seen the guys who keep the good or the average CGPA can easily get through placements and get a offer letter from a company as many IT & Core companies come for recruitment in KLE TU(BVB) than in KLE IT.

Better go for KLE TU(BVBCET).

Since KLE tech is not much reputed college so you will definitely get admission there on the basis of your jee rank just contact there management department .

Considering last year's cut-off of KCET and according to your rank in KCET you cannot get admission in BVB college, Hubli. You'll neither get Computer Science and Engineering not electronic and communication engineering as the closing ranks are 5674 and 7494 respectively.

The cutoff rank for cs branch in bvbcet belonging to 3B category was 17485.

Cutoff rank for ec branch in bvbcet during the year 2018 was 20k (for general) and slightly more for all other categories . As you have secured 8393 rank, yes you wil get a ec seat in bvbcet even if you belong to general merit( you have complete chance of getting a seat if you belong to obc or sc/st) . So good luck!

Yes you would get adided or unaided seat in bvbcet hubli for cs branch or ec branch  (as you belong to 3B with snq) the cutoff ranks given to 3B category were 17486 ( cs branch) and 21375 (enc) so you very well hold a chance in getting an adided seat as you hold a good rank which falls within the cutoff ranks in 2018. Yes with a rank of 8393 you wil get a seat in bvbcet ( hubli) for cs branch as the cutoff rank for the same branch was around 16k. So you can take the college into consideration for getting a seat. Good luck!
