Ayush,

If you get 160 marks you will get rank of around 14000-15000 you may check at

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Based on this rank you will get MANIT BHOPAL DEFINITELY but not all of the branches.  Based on previous cut off you can get branches like

  • MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
  • ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
  • ECE(MAY BE IN SPOT ROUND)
  • CIVIL ENGINEERING
  • CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
  • Material and metallurgy

Hope it helps.

Cut off rank for CSE last year home state was 9400.

Hi, we cannot predict whether you can get into MANIT or not with respect to marks. What we can say is only on the basis of the all India rank you obtain. If you belong to Home State, you need to have a rank below 3900. If you belong to other state, then you should have a rank of below 1600.

Hello,

As per the eligibility criteria of JEE , person seeking admission into NIT'S,IIT'S or GFTI's, they should score a minimum of 75% in the class XII board examination or they Must be in the top 20 percentile marks of the board exam irrespective of any board. For SC/ST students , this criteria is 65%. So, whatever be your rank in JEE mains , you would not get into MANIT if you don't have a minimum of 75% in your 12th board examination if you belong to general or obc category.

Hope it helps.

yes. as per the rules maulana ajad national institute of technology provides fellowship for PhD student students.it is provided up to 5 years.  a stipend of INR 25000 is paid every month to a PhD student up to 2 years. then for next 2 years it is increased by 3 thousand.

Hi Ansh, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of test takers number of seats available difficulty level of exams etc. However going by the past cutoffs, the chances would be slightly less, as they expect around 550+ for general category and closing ranks around 450+. So it is kind of 50-50 chances for MANIT Bhopal Maths.

Hello Pedma Namgyal!

NIT BHOPAL is tough to get but still possible with this score. You have to wait for CSAB special round counselling. It is bit riskier to wait for it but you don't have other option.

Also for Mechanical in NIT Srinagar you have to wait for CSAB.

" I have answered by keeping in mind that your score in paper is 75"

If your percentile is 75 then the scenario would be quite different.

Hope that helps!

Hi

The process is very simple, after completing diploma in engineering you can pursue Bachelors degree in Engineering. It is called as lateral entry. For you the course duration will only be of 3 years. That means you will be skiping 1 st year.

Now as far as the admission process is considered there are two ways in any which college in India offers admission for B. Tech Lateral entry.

1. Based on your diploma score.

2. Based on entrance test conducted by college.

So the selection process will depend on college you are applying for.

College Infrastructure

College Infrastructure is good. As there are many new building have been made, new departments, new hostels which increase the capacity of students , all department and hostel are available with wifi. library is available with all variety of books, smart library is also available, students can go there and learn about anything, MANIT have a very big area and still development of many news things is going on. In department, classroom are very big with a capacity of 150 students for each class, laboratories are available for all subject and we do practical on them. In department you see a clean environment but the area of campus is very big so it is very hard to manage outside are department. In rainy season grass grow in the campus and all campus is become green due to trees and grass.

Experience is superb.

Hostels are average; they provide LAN and a 3-seater room for first-year students. Now for upcoming students, they are also providing washing machines, which will be very useful for students. Also, there is a laundry system. A man comes every day to take the clothes but it is not free; you have to pay for it.
