See NIT Bhopal and Durgapur both are one of the best NIT's in India. But in general, there are some reviews which suggest that NIT Bhopal is considerably better than NIT Durgapur in terms of Academics, Placements and Infrastructure. Although the opinnions may differ but as per the information available, NIT Bhopal will be a better choice for you if you want a better placement. Apart from this there are not much of a difference.

Hello Ashutosh,
For answering your question I'm listing some key highlights about both the colleges regarding the programme that you're interested in-
1. IIEST Shibpur - Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology-
For Mechanical Engineering-
2. MANIT Bhopal - Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology-
For Mechanical Engineering-
For Civil Engineering-
For Chemical Engineering-
As you can see based on these highlights Chemical Engineering at NIT Bhopal would be a better option in terms of placement but since the seats are less; there's a lot of competition.
Also Mechanical Engineering at IIEST is a good option and offers a decent placement. But again the seats are less.
Rest everything depends on your interest.
For more information do visit-

Hiii
Area: While MANIT is situated at the core of bhopal; near shopping center, training classes, eateries, legacy destinations; NIT Jamshedpur is situated in suburbia of Jamshedpur, in fact it is well beyond Jamshedpur-the closest rail route station being Adityapur.
Foundation: MANIT again wins it here. Against the flimsy lodgings of NIT Jamshedpur are the unobtrusive, home like, inns of MANIT with 24x7 force suppy (an Utopian dream for NIT Jamshedpur understudies).
Branch Change: MANIT () NIT Jamshedpur (X).
Participation: MANIT is maybe the main school where participation doesn't have an effect to your scholarly presentation. In this way, in the event that you've to plan for some test (GRE, GATE, CAT… .) or follow your interests or persue business venture, it is the best spot to do it.
Arrangements: The normal bundle of both the universities are almost something similar, so are the meeting organizations. however, the public standing of MANIT is better and there are innumerable web journals that affirm something very similar.
Hi,
In my opinion you should go for NIT Jamshedpur Mettalurgy. It has better placements in compare to MANIT Bhopal. Infrastructure, Faculty are good in both the colleges.
Here is the comparison :-
NIT Jamshedpur :- Overall Rating - 3.8
MNIT Bhopal :- Overall Rating - 3.8
Choose according to your convenience.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Hello,
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
The preference order you should consider is:
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet. More reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

The college infrastructure is so good and it's a old and fresh structure attracts such students we have ATMs banks and gyms in our campus which is really access fully at anytime with children's can go
College Infrastructure is good. As there are many new building have been made, new departments, new hostels which increase the capacity of students , all department and hostel are available with wifi. library is available with all variety of books, smart library is also available, students can go there and learn about anything, MANIT have a very big area and still development of many news things is going on. In department, classroom are very big with a capacity of 150 students for each class, laboratories are available for all subject and we do practical on them. In department you see a clean environment but the area of campus is very big so it is very hard to manage outside are department. In rainy season grass grow in the campus and all campus is become green due to trees and grass.
Hostels are average; they provide LAN and a 3-seater room for first-year students. Now for upcoming students, they are also providing washing machines, which will be very useful for students. Also, there is a laundry system. A man comes every day to take the clothes but it is not free; you have to pay for it.
