Hi

With  98.001percentile

It is difficult to make prediction but when we go through previous year trend then

You hold a   low chance for chemical engineering in NIT Allahabad even under home state  for mechanical engineering

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, under   home state quota ,   closing  rank for gender neutral for general category in NIT Allahabad was 17143  rank  for mechanical engineering

But yes,

In NIT Allahabad with your rank under   home state you have chances in branches like

  • Production and Industrial Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology:-29224

  • Bio Technology (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

This above prediction is on the past year data basis but  cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so

Hi

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you are not eligible for home state quota in MNIT Allahabad.

This is because,
In jee main, home state is one from where one has passed  12th board examination from.

So, being passed 12th from Delhi, your home state is Delhi and not UP, it doesn't matter even if you are living in UP.

Now,
If you want to get into MNIT Allahabad then you need at least around 33000 rank
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 ,33790  rank for gender neutral general category under other state was the closing rank for  a seat in MNIT Allahabad and it was for Bio Technology (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Hi

Your profile suggests that your home state is UP, so you will be eligible for home state quota in NIT Allahabad

This is a bit difficult to predict the percentile required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , 1526 sc rank was the closing rank for gender  female for sc category for home state in Nit allahabad for computer science engineering

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, for computer science in NIT Allahabad being a female from  home state , you need at least around 1500 sc rank i.e 50,000 common rank i. e around 95.5  percentile .

Incase youre planning a Research Internship or Project, I would suggest you to pursue MNNIT Allahabad over MNIT Jaipur. MNNIT has much better research facilities, faculty and self & Industry funded projects going on under its belt. The Academic and Research Outlook as well as the Citation Produced by Researchers at MNNIT are some of the Highest among NITs. However, again like its up to you and your vibes towards the Project. If a Professor/ Research Group working at MNIT is more inclined towards your research interests, you may definitely prefer MNIT over MNNIT, ultimately its you who are going to have the experience.

According to online resources the last year cutoff for CAT In MNNIT Allahabad was 75 marks for all the MBA courses like Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Marketing, Systems Management for the general category.

In IIIT Allahabad the CAT cutoff was 78 marks according to the online resources.

Dear aspirant,

As per my knowledge nit warangal has a better brand name but mnit allahabad is no less. It too has better placements.

I think msc in mathematics and scientific computing will be a much better option than applied mathematics in nit Warangal. The faculty of both the colleges are very good . The infrastructure is also comparable of both the colleges but I would prefer mnit Allahabad.

If placements are considered then mnit allahabad in this branch would be a bit better one as the scope is better .
