Dear aspirant;
For a PWD candidate it becomes quite more easy to get the seat in NITs. For NIT Calicut , you are a other State candidate. So, being from general EWS category; you need to score 100-120 marks at minimum. To get a good branch in NIT Calicut you might want to go beyond 120 just to be sure. So, target for a good mark and keep up with the hard work.
All the best!
Dear student, you haven't mentioned the course and the Nit you are particularly searching for. Also since the exam pattern has changed the cut offs can't be predicted earlier. But having a brief idea about cut offs surely helps.
For the top NITs like NIT TRICHY, NIT WARANGAL, the maximum closing rank for CSE was 2120 and 2604 respectively. That simply means your score should excellent for these NITs.
You can check this link for detailed cut offs of different NITs
All the best
Hope this helps
Hi Rita,
It is difficult to determine the cutoffs for an OBC candidate to get admission into the national Institute Of Technology, New Delhi as the cutoffs keep changing every year. The factors that affect the cutoffs are the number of applicants for that course, the difficulty level of the examination, the previous years' cutoffs and and the performance in the entrance examination.
For more information on last years' cutoff trends, look here:

Hello dear aspirant .
As this year JEE mains pattern completely changed hence it is a little difficult to predict exact stats but yes approximately 88-90 percentile will be ok in your case.
As per new trend we can simply say that in order to get this much percentile you really have to study hard and score at least 150 for it.
Ok good luck
Hello Emile,
National Institute Of Technology, Calicut was built up in 1961. NIT Calicut offers different undergrad, postgraduate and PhD courses
Hi Ravi,
You must always choose the stream of your interest first over the college. So firstly decide whether you're more inclined to Mech or Electronics, you probably have to spend the rest of your life in the field. If you're still confused, you need to see the college reputation. Both are excellent and old institutions. Placement wise Jamshedpur is a little better and so is ECE with more job opportunities. However, NIT Calicut is no far behind. So choose wisely based on your priorities.
All the best
Hey Kranthi, the spot rou d for different colleges starts at different times. Generally for NIT calicut the spot round will begin from mid August . I would recommend you to hire a counsillor for yourself as counsillors can guide you through all the procedures and that way you wont miss your chance of making it in NIT.
BEST WISHES
