NIT Calicut All Questions

In such a case if branch is not a matter of concern for you then I would suggets you to opt for telecommunications in IIT Kharagpur instead of going for VLSI in NIT Calicut as IIT Kharagpur is a really good ranked college overall and have good ratings in mostly all respects than NIT Calicut. But if VLSI attracts you more, then there is nothing bad for you if you want to opt NIT Calicut. 

So it really depends on you that what YOU really want and decide for one and go for it blindly as both options are really worthy and great choices for you to opt. Hope it helped.

Obviously NIT Jamshedpur ECE.

The placements of NIT Jamshedpur is getting better in respective branches from past few years.When it comes to ECE department the placements are really good.One can have good chances in their domain of “interest” like core ,Software or analytics.This is the MAIN ASSET of ECE in NIT JSR.core companies like L&T,Siemens,commscope etc.. and software side many companies like Amazon,oracle,UHG etc..Also few analytics companies like ZS,mu sigma,exl,etc.are visited & ECE guys are placed in every domain with a good number.

NIT Calicut civil:

The academic syllabus needs to be improved a bit. The question paper standard is good. The main issue with the department is the huge number of adhoc faculties recruited for semester contract. Even though some of them are excellent, a few are inexperienced.

Placements are very low compared to the circuit branches.

• LandT is the core recruiter  for 2017 batch. CTC is 5 lakhs.
• ITD Cementation and Wabag also recruited students.
• HPCL recruited 2 people with 12 lakh CTC ( Chances of PSU recruiting civil engineers is very less at NITC. Your CGPA might have a huge influence.)
• Apart from these, most students got placed in non core companies.

Join NIT Calicut. NIT has high value than IIITs. They are old and reputed colleges and most companies visit NIT after IIT. You can go for IIIT if you are interested. NIT is a good option and smart to choose as you are selected for CSE branch and its NIT which defines itself. Your career depends in your skills but your skills will be more recognised if you completed your graducation from a government reputed college.

National Institute Of Technology (NIT), calicut has many facilities like gym, swimming pool, open-air theatre, auditorium and other outdoor sports.

Guest room facilities are available in each hostel for relatives of students. Both A/C and non A/C rooms are available.

You have to make two wise decisions.

Firstly, which college you want to join NIT Calicut or NIT Rourkela. NIT Rourkela stands a little better than NIT Calicut based on the NIRF rankings by MHRD of India, and based on multiple factors including academics, research, campus, placements, etc. Now you have to decide where you want to join.

Secondly, Civil or Chemical, solely you have to decide which among these two you want to study. Whichever you like, go ahead with that. If you don't have any inclination towards any among these two, then i suggest you to choose NIT Rourkela Chemical Engineering. You can choose the other two, depends completely on your interest.

Your rank is fine , you can get lower bodies of Nit or IIITs of the apex in the last round of counselling or there's another special round called the Spot counselling as well where you would definitely get a branch of your choice along with Calicut or kurukshetra choice of college. 

See you are giving a tough choice to select, NIT Calicut and NIT Allahabad . Both colleges are really good. NIT Calicut is having a good reputation but you can't ignore nit Allahabad .

But I would suggest you to go for nit Allahabad as placement are also good in comparison to Rourkela , in nit Rourkela you have attendance system very rigid when compared to that of nit Allahabad. 

But afterall it's your choice choose wisely.
