As you are from Jharkhand then it's better that you choose or give priority to NIT Jamshedpur first in jossa counseling.
Because NIT Jamshedpur is a government college and is much better than BIT Mesra.
Now if you want to arrange among electrical engineering and electronics and communication engineering in NIT Jamshedpur, then arrange electrical engineering first in NIT Jamshedpur and after choose Electronics and Communication engineering in NIT Jamshedpur.
And always try to give less priority to the private colleges and lastly select the electronics and communication engineering in BIT Mesra.
So, in jossa counseling your preference order must be government colleges to private colleges.

NIT Jamshedpur is a good NIT college, but as per the review, ratings, rankings, and placements record, this would be suggested ranking -

1. BIT Mesra

2. NIT Jalandhar

3. NIT Jamshedpur

4. NIT Patna

In NIT Jamshedpur, ECE will be the most preferred branch, followed by EEE and Mechanical Engineering.

Hello aspirant.  Both are very good college.  But according to recent ranking by nirf iiest shibpur ki ranked top 20 college of India. So you can choose it. But if you want alumni network which is more of old college then go for nit jamshedpur.

Hope you are doing well. As per your query definitely NIT Jamshedpur will top the list because it was ranked 79 by NIRF which is a very good rank compared to IIIT Kalyani. Also the placements if compared NIT has a more decent placement as 70-80% students got placed last year. The highest package offered by the college for CSE last year was 22 LPA while the average was 5 LPA. Very good companies come here for campusing. So NIT would be a good choice. See, both the colleges are quite famous. NIt jamshedpur is popular because of its NIT tag and its facilities with good placement records and is counted among top NITs. On the other hand MSRIT is quite famous engineering college in karnataka under KCET entrance exam , it also has good facilities and placement records for core branches. But if you are confusing to choose any of these to get admission , then you are advised to choose NIt if you are getting your desired seat there. But if you are getting you are getting CSe or ECE in MSRIt then join that.

Both colleges are good but BIT Mesra was under rank 30 in NIRF whereas NIT Jamshedpur as around 150. And if you opting for computer science and engineering then you should go for BIT Mesra. Because only in CSE/ IT branch BIT Mesra have more placement offers but if you consider other courses then NIT Jamshedpur is better.
