Both these colleges are almost ranked same as far as CSE placements are concerned. The highest package for NIT Raipur was 33 lakhs per annum last year and 39 lakhs in AIT Pune last year. And the average salaries in each of these colleges is aaround 5-7 lakhs per year for students with 95 and 97 percentage placement records. I will personally recommmend you to choose AIT Pune since it has got great infrastrucutre and a high participation into extra curricular activites may it be sports or cultural related.

Hello Aspirant,

According to the given percentile your rank would be around 52,000. On the basis of this rank it is not possible to get any good NIT. As you belongs to OBC category, therefore let's s e the chances of your admission to Civil engineering in asked NITs :-

@NIT Jamshedpur (Civil engineering)

  • Other State : 8427(Male) & 12750(Female)
  • Home State : 10884(Male) & 166612(Female)

@NIT Raipur

  • Home State : 22427(Male) & 20724(Female)
  • Other State : 8771(Male) & 12227(Female)

@NIT Jalandhar

  • Home State : 66379(Male) & 86769(Female)
  • Other State : 8460(Male) & 14239(Female)

I would suggest you to prepare for second attempt of JEE-Main 2020.

You can also use JEE-Main College Predictor for predicting your college according to your percentile and category.

Good Luck!!

Hello,

Since you got 94% in JEE Mains , your rank would be around 50k+ . If you belong to home state then you have few chances of getting a seat in Mining Engineering but if you don't belong to that state then you have fairly no chances of getting seat in NIT Raipur. The highest package offered in 2019 happened to be bagged by a Computer Science and Engineering student and it was valued around INR 38 Lakhs per annum. The average salary package for the same year happened to be INR 7 Lakhs per annum.

Hope this helps you. We wish you the best for your future endeavours!

Hi Pavan,

Congrats on scoring 95 percentile. As the number of students appearing for the April attempt is still unknown, so it will be difficult to predict your final rank. And your final rank will decide which college you get into.

As of 2019 trend the seventh round closing rank for HS category was 14806  and for OS category was 1680.

You can check for different colleges according to your peercentile by going through the following link:

Wishing you all the best for you future.

If you come under General EWS category and to get NIT raipur it will be best if you score above 95 Percentile because above this you can get an average branches in NIT raipur without any problem. Not only NIT Raipur but you can get other lower or average NITs too if you have a score of 95 Percentile...There might be a possibility that you could get it with little lower Percentile than 95 but it would be best if you go for above 95 so that you are safe and secure with it.
Thank you..
