I would like to inform you yes you are eligible for NIT Warangal because that candidate have at least 60% marks in aggregate (I to IV Year) or 6.5 CGPA on 10 point scale and a valid CAT /MAT score. Anything above 600 in MAT exam is considered at NIT Warangal. Admissions in NIT WARANGAL for MBA programme requires you to obtain high marks and percentile in CAT or MAT exams. MAT percentile should be above 85% marks for admission in NIT Warangal. So yes you can opt for MBA program at NIT warangal. So keep studying keep growing.

if your percentage is 98% then your rank would be around 16-20k approx . Then you may get a seat in NIT Warangal . If you are from Telangana then you have more chances to get a seat in Warangal . You may not get CSE but you would get another branch .

I am sorry but 78 percentile is too low to get you a seat at NIT Warangal if you are general candidate. If you have have reservation quota of sc/st then you may have a otherwise. But otherwise, you have no chance. You need at 96+ percentile for  a general candidate to get into  NIT Warangal.

You need to get a rank below 3000 so that you can get a seat in NIT Tiruchurapalli if you are from that state but if you are from different state you need to get a rank below 1000 .

Nit Warangal is a better choice over nit Allahabad. As per nirf ranking of 2019 which based on: Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception,

Nit Warangal is ranked 26th and NIT allahabad is ranked 42nd. Also nit Warangal is a little ahead in terma of placements, quality of education and exposure.

So nit Warangal> nit Allahabad

Placements for an M.Tech in civil at NITW are overall better than other NITs.
Transportation and Structural branch has good placements (90–100%) every year. Maximum are placed in core jobs in MNCs with package
in the range of (4.2–6) lpa generally. Some are placed in teaching jobs in private
engineering colleges. A few get government jobs also, on their own, by giving
competitive exams.
CTM is a new branch here, though it is getting better. This year, almost all got placed, except a few non interested candidates.
Placements for Water Resoures, Environment, and Geotechnical Divisions are average here.Package range is almost uniform throughout all branhes. Geotechnical guys generally get placed more in teaching jobs. Many prepare for government jobs and crack them as well.

For good package people prefer to go to gov. jobs.

Those who are really interested in civil, can later do phd from abroad like from germany.

Let me tell you ,candidates who are pursing their bachelor's degree in any branch of engineering or technology from a recognized University or Institute with Atleast 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (for sc/st/pwd candidates with 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA)  on 10 point scale and valid CAT/MAT score are eligible for NIT Warangal MBA 2020 admission.
