NIT Warangal All Questions

Hello,

as per ranking NIT comes first after IIT and IIIT comes after BITs which is a private institute.

Performance of NIT:-

It is world class. NIT warangal is ranked 26 by NIRF and one of the top 5 NIT campus. placement of the campus is alomost done by big and multinational companies. The median package will range to 7lpa and highest will be 30 lpa.

Placement is done accross all the branches and all the branch students perform very well.

Performance of IIIT:- The campus is world class and they provide world class workshops and conducts many webinars and seminar to implement the learning in solving real life problems.

Placement is good. Average package will be 5 lpa and highest will be 25-30 lpa.

Course curriculum and service provided for both the college is good. It depends on students how they want to learn. Both colleges are difficult to get an admission as they perform very well to make the career bright of students.

There is no comparision in this section. Off campus is not in the hand of college. It is completely handled by the company who organizes it.  In addition to it , the students from NITs and IIITs have a problem solving mind for which they get job very easily but they mostly do startups to make their own business like an entrepreneur.

With this rank in open( general ) category you would not be able to get NIT WARANGAL  as cut off for even the lowest branch bio- tech. Closed at approx.  30k AIR. Dear aspirant, the previous year cut off in general category for clearing JEE MAIN examination was 89 percentile and for general -ews category it was 78 percentile. However these cutoffs are expected to change this year due to slight changes in total no of students appearing in the examination. So you can expect the cutoffs or similar this year also. Also if the total no. of students in April session increases then this cutoff is also expected to change.

You have not mentioned your category and desired branch. If you want a seat in any branch then your rank should be around 200000 in general that means your percentile should be around 80. However percentile may differ if number of student in April month exam will increase.

Your expected rank for the present percentile for the JANUARY session is as follows 34499. It is very difficult to predict the actual rank since it depedns on various factors. The expected rank might change depending on the no of candiates appearing the april session.

The official cutoffs are yet to be anounced. but do not worry lets analsye the previous year cutoffs of NIT Warangal and predict your chances.

You have scored 97.96 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 17227. However your final rank will depend on number of student appear in April month exam. You can also calculate your rank as

Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100

You will get both desired branch in NIT Surat but little difficult in NIT WARANGAL.

Rank = (100-percentile)*(No. of students appeared for the examination)/100

As the no. of students appeared for Paper 1 (Jan) are around 869000, your rank will be around 70000. However as the no. of students in April changes, your rank will change according to that.

With this rank, there are less chances of getting a NIT but you have some chances of getting a NIT on the basis of Female reservation and GEN-EWS category reservation.

With 79.67 percentile in January JEE Mains 2020 in Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, you will surely get a seat in NIT Warangal. But, you will not be able to get any top branch. For that you will have to prepare harder for the April JEE Mains and get a higher percentile.
