HOPE YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH MY ANSWER

Hello.

Pretty good placements compared to other colleges. But if you join under VTU scheme then you will miss out the one month holidays when you can do internships, courses, etc.

This is where the PES(main campus) have an edge over the PESIT south campus students. Placements in the main campus is very good compared to south campus. The placements are combined for all campuses yeah. But the main campus have a better placement percentage.

CSE is good, there are good teachers, good atmosphere, bad administration, etc.

The least package will be 2LPA and avg is around 3L

Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.

Hello

PES is any time a better option than SRM due to the following reasons

1. Autonomous

2. Best private engineering institute in Karnataka ( for Comp and IT ).

3. Only 6-7 hours college, so you can concentrate on your extra curricular and coaching for higher studies.

4. Higher cut-offs. Pes-U has much higher cut offs than SRM .

5. Faculty. (most of them  being PHD holders)

6. Cultural activities

7. Interdepartmental fests

8. They have open elective every semester.

If you are not sure whether you would get admissionin PES based on your marks I would suggest you to call the authorities and enquire about your chances. If money is not an issue then take the seat in SRM (although if you  do get admission in PES SRM will not give you a 100% refund and they would also keep your original certificates. Also, SRM is expensive). If you are confident then you can cancel the seat in SRM but unless you are it is better to have options. All the best.
