If you are entering PES University through Common Entrance Examination (CET), the fee is 38,000 Rupees with some optional fee around 10000 Rupees which is 48000 Rupees per year.

Whereas, if you are joining through their entrance exam PESSAT or a management seat then it is 3,30,000 Rupees that is three lakh thirty thousand rupees per year.

the entrance examination to seek admission for the under graduation program for engineering at PES University is known as PESSAT. It is an examination conducted by the university. This entrance examination is at a university level. When compared to other competitive examinations such as JEE Mains and JEE Advanced it is the level of toughness is a little less. To be honest I think pes University cse branch would be a far better option than vit vellore cse. In these private colleges the college name doesn't matter. If you have the required skills then definitely the company will hire you irrespective of your college name.

Now coming to the next part of your question, if I had consider the ROI factor pessat will beat vit vellore in this because in category 3 the cost of a BTech programme would be somewhat around 22-23L .

No PES University, Bangalore does not accept COMEDK score for admissions in B.Tech courses. PESSAT/ KCET/ JEE mains qualifying scores are required for admissions in PES University, Bangalore and Qualifications of 10 + 2 level as of aggregate 50% marks in Physics, Math, and one of the following subjects -  Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biotechnology is required to be eligible for admissions. The Peoples Education Society Institute of Technology established in 2013 and is a state private university with UGC approval.
