College has good number of rooms and good projectors for teaching. It also has seminar halls with good seating. The college also has specialised centres for innovation like big data, iot and blockchain
Quality of teaching is quite good. Many topics are in line the with the current industry. There is a very good environment for publishing papers and pursuing projects. The final year project is for a duration of 1 year.
According to the placement cell and seniors, the placement is very good and has around 80 percent placements. Highest salary package is 1.5 crore( not very sure) and average is 11 lakes apparently. College very supportive in placements.
College library has good and enough books for everyone. It has reference materials, journals and research materials. Labs are well equipped and up to date. Union bank branch and ATM are inside college building.
All the lecturers and staffs are well experienced and qualified. All the study materials and lecture videos are available in cloud so they are available any time. Our syllabus is updated every year such that they meet real world expectations and in touch with recent developments done in the field.
Placement statistics are good in our college. Placement process is very smooth. Almost 80% students get placed before graduation. Average package is 20 LPA. College also provides various internship opportunities for real world experiences.
Computer Science Engineering entered through CET costs around 1 - 1.5 Lakh per year including College Management Fee. For students entered though PESSAT, it costs around 4 - 5 Lakh per year. I think this money is worth it since college provides quality education.
Campus experience is really good. Various sports tournaments and Cultural events are held annually. Clubs of vast majority provide good opportunities for extra curricular activities. All the faculties and staffs are friendly. Location is good since it has good commute and hospitals are near.
This college is good since it provides quality education and has value for money. It provides quality experiences and new challenges to ready ourselves for real world challenges.
The college has a compact infrastructure when compared to the other universities but has a lot of nice and interesting things inside. The main eyecatcher is the library in the thirteenth floor. A new building is being built which will definitely be the best
The teaching in the college in top notch. The faculty is very friendly and helpful. Importance is given to projects. A lot of new projects are always happening in the college. There is a research and development unit being built in the new building which will definitely contribute to a lot of top projects.
The best of the best companies come to PES for placements. Especially for CS, the placements are amazing. It is good for the rest too. The placement percentage is very high compared to the other universities.
The college is one of the top colleges in the state. It offers very good academics, placements, cocurricular activites. The students are very good and the college atmosphere is really nice. So it definitely is a value for money college
Campus life is amazing. The students are friendly. The campus is in a very safe place. The support from the teachers is really good. The campus has a very nice atmosphere. The infrastructure is also very good so it gives a very nice vibe.
It is very difficult to get into this college. But at the end of the day, it is really worth it as the college life, academics and placements are just amazing and far more better when compared to other universities.
We have a good infrastructure...and even it's an University all the courses have diff bulidings and even hostel is near to clg ,we have new upcoming sports club and also have different types of clubs lik dance photography singing etc
Have a great academic with a quality teaching using improved technology and even the examz a with standard questions and everything goes according to the calendar...and the notes are available in clg website clearly and are effective
As heard from manegement the placement are the plus point of this clg...and have a 100% placement with good company . But the package depends on ur performance in interview..and importantly we even have intership opportunity
There are plenty of facilities available to the students. The labs are well equipped and are up to industry standards. The gym is well maintained and well equipped. The hostel rooms are well lit and regularly cleaned.
Being an ECE student I can speak for the quality of the ECE professors. The teachers for ECE are excellent and are extremely helpful. The syllabus is updated every year and includes all recent developments in the field.
About 98% of students get placed on average every year from ECE. Companies like Intel, Nvidia, Bosch, Texas Instruments etc. visit the campus for placements. These companies pay extremely well with the average salary being pretty high.
The infrastructure of the college is not very good considering the number the number of students and the college fee. There is no football court,no basketball court ,no badminton court ,no swimming pool,no volleyball court. Apparently the basketball cort will be there in the new building that's being constructed, let's see.
I'm studying ECE in PES University, the quality of teaching has been good except a few subjects. I have heard that the curriculum they teach is outdated. Due to the huge number of students in the college the competition is quite high.
The quality of placements has been good at the college. The average package last year was around 8lpa and the highest was around 40-50lpa and it went to CSE. But your cgpa should be very good if you want to get placed.
University is well equipped with useful facilities such as libraries, laboratories, gym, amphitheatre, ground, sports and reasearch centers, etc. Although the campus area is small, the built up area is quite spacious. More facilities are expected when the new block under construction will open next year. There are quite a few food options in amd around the campus. Classrooms are equipped with TVs for visual aid. Overall, the campus is well maintained.
The study material for any subject is always available to students in the form of notes, ppts and av summaries on pesuacademy website. Curriculum is updated every year based on the changes in the field. Most teachers are helpful and are proficient in their respective subjects.
Placements for computer science are very good. Tier 1 companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, etc have visited the campus before. The average package is around 9-10 lpa and highest package is said to be around 63 lpa.
Well equipped and infrastructure is also good. 4 stars because of the construction of other buildings but other than that it's tidy and libraries are really good. Overall all I as a student like it. So go for it.
Quality of the curriculum is too standard when compared to the other colleges and I think in this fast developing tech world this curriculum is required. Teaching is also good but ofc it also depends on students.
I have heard that it's highest package is 63lpa and average package is decent. Placement ratio is also good and many companies including Amazon amd Google shows up. So overall it's worth when it comes to Placements.
PES college has beautiful buildings and very organized . It has all facilities for sports , Labs and all other activities. Classroom have proper boards and a TV for presenting . It also has cameras and a recording device so as to view lectures afterwards. The hostel rooms are spacious and clean , and the eating areas are also hygienic
I study Electronics and Communication Engineering at RR campus. The teachers are good and helpful. As for the curriculum, the topics are interesting . If it makes me Job-ready or not is not known as I am still in first year.
As I am still in first year, not sure about placements and average salary. But according to seniors and the faculty, the placements are amazing and good companies like Google, Microsoft, Cisco and many such have come and hired few students. So I think its safe to say that the placements are good.
The college faculty is really good and the hostels , library and the facilities provided are well maintained. The living spaces are clean and the wifi in the hostel works really well and the food provided is pretty decent.
The quality of education provided is really good and with the pesu academy it is really easy to study and the provided slides and av sumarry helps the students alot during exams and the syllabus is updated
I heard that the placements are really good . The highest package was around 55 lpa and the average package is around 8-12 lpa. The internships offered are also pretty good and most kf the students get placed during the placements
The academic cost for students joining through pessat is comparatively higher than students joining through kcet
Even though due to the current situation we had very little time to enjoy the college experience but given the time we made the most out of it
Hello Bhoomika,
If you love CSE and have a Tier 2 college with CSE at hand, consider it over EC at PES University. PES is a recognized Tier 1.5 college with brilliant infrastructure and industry connections. However, branch matters a lot and since you want core software roles, it has an impact on your opportunities.
But, if you are comfortable switching to CSE-related roles down the line (upskilling or internal branch change), then PES University's reputation and exposure can still provide opportunities in the future. At the end of the day, decide what is more important to you: branch vs brand.
Dear Harshita,
yaa it's a University with like last year highest placement was 65 lpa, total placement offers:- 1500+, total internships:- 1,250+, participating companies: 350+, overall package 18 LPA, with a median around 12-13 LPA. So, all I can say like core branches get good placements and like overall it's a good University.
hope its helps!
thanks
best of luck
Hello,
With 96 percentile in JEE Mains, it is quite tough to get a seat in the CSE core branch at PES University through JEE. PES gives more preference to PESSAT and KCET ranks.
The CSE branch is highly competitive, so chances through JEE Mains are very low. You can try through PESSAT or KCET for better chances.
Hope it helps !
